I've brought my young adult daughter here 3 times now and each time they are AMAZING!! You are greeted with a smile and caring people. The therapists don't rush you and are so comforting and let you explain and talk as long as you need to. They are reassuring and encouraging!! I'm so happy this place exists as many don't understand mental health and it is very hard to get help anywhere else. Thank you to everyone at Access 24/7...you are truly life savers!!

I regret wasting my day, and only taking steps back instead of steps forward. Psychiatrist refused to believe my past diagnosis, said that things were untreated too long and if I really had it, I would have been in and out of the hospital many times over the years, didn't listen to half of what I said, and she answered and made personal phone calls mid appointment, after the appointment already started late. Otherwise, the place was fine. It was clean, the seats were at least comfortable, and reception was decent and professional enough. Psychiatrist though, I won't trust the prescription until I get a second opinion, and I definitely didn't appreciate her acting like my twice previously diagnosed condition wasn't severe enough to be real, and she brushed off much of what I said. The whole appointment was a waste of 3 hour of my day.

It's a nice feeling to know there's somewhere people can go to get better when they're head might be steering them wrong. Everyone I worked with here was exceptionally caring, patient, and understanding of our situations, and genuinely wanted to help people. I can't recommend this enough for folks; if you're not sure if you need help, ask. 🙂

absolutely horrendous. my past diagnosis was completely invalidated and erased, even though I came in for something completely different. why even mention that if we aren’t talking about it?

the doctor took a personal phone call DURING my appointment, while I was answering a question. so unprofessional especially given the patients you’re seeing are in dire need of someone to listen to them and understand them. i got a sense of the serious lack of passion for the line of work you chose to get into. do better!

Just had a very unpleasant phone conversation with some woman working at Access 24/7. She was quite rude, arrogant, and judgemental. She kept telling me what to do and saying that I shouldn't phone this line. Well, since I have gotten to the point where death seems like a better alternative to life, I think that I have a good reason to phone this line.?

The first visit was good. Man was kind from what I remember, and I felt better that I was reaching out for help.
I cannot say the same about the second visit. While I am sure there are many healthcare workers who are working hard here at this facility to make a difference for struggling people, the psychiatrist I was with did not deal with me in a very sensitive manner.
I do not feel that he fully understood my issues and mechanically boxed me in to what he felt I needed to deal with most. He advised that the next time I was having a mental breakdown that I should keep it to myself at home and avoid calling their hotline. He also mentioned some of my behavior during one of my breakdowns was childish for my age and then asked me to explain it as if it was extremely hard to understand a response to being extremely distressed and upset. In my opinion, that is far from being non-judgmental.
I do not mean to frighten anyone into not reaching out for the medical care they need. What I would say is that it is possible to have both good and bad experiences while trying to work through your mental health. If you have a terrible experience like mine, do not blame yourself and keep on going.

These people save life's daily, If you truly want help these people will help you, It's basically a walk in clinic for mental health. I have been through numerous addiction programs, but so far I don't have a complaint, they have found programs that will help me and the staff are wonderful. The doctors and counselors, truly care, and that's always a positive. I have one more visit before we finish transition me into my more permanent solution. My only bad thing I have to say is there needs to be more places like it. It definitely been one of the best experiences having a terrible time. I was terrified to call but it's worth the phone call.

I hope this helps some one, and I hope my spelling wasn't too bad either! ?thanks for reading this and life is worth it. and there are solutions. Take care 🙂

I know this place has some mixed reviews but I have to say that Heather was absolutely fantastic while doing my intake. I was a bit hesitant since when I last spoke with any healthcare providers it was a little rocky but she was so understanding and kind and made me feel welcomed. Thank you so much Heather!
