As a member of the Mental Health Network for over a year now I will give a TRUE and FACTUAL review of my own personal experience of the network, staff and members as a whole.
After isolating at home for over two yrs I was introduced to the network. 1st day I was made to feel welcome, both staff and members soon eased my anxiety. The MHN was a life line for me they have helped me to integrate back into society by building my confidence and self esteem. The peer support from all members is exceptional. Staff are always available to support us all through our good and bad days. I have always been treated with respect and with no judgement with regards to my MH or personal issues I may be going through. The staff and members are what make the network work. It is a happy fun relaxed safe place to be and I would be lost if it wasn't there. So thank you to all the staff and members. Looking forward to the yrs ahead of us 🩷

Camhs talk a good talk. Good at ticking boxes but not actually achieving positive results.
Don't pin your hopes on being helped when you're on that mile long waiting list.
Failing so many of our children.
