Maureen is the best counsellor I have ever had at Okanagan clinical counselling- Kelowna Location.

My case is extremely complex involving issues not familiar to some and I felt that sense of being understood right on my first visit and then continuously since then .

I have participated in counselling sessions with Maureen Wolfe for over 1.5 years now, and I can literally tell her anything. She remains professional, unbiased and has the best advice in the world. I really look up to her for support and I know I can always count on her when things get dark. Together, I get back to the light again, every time!

Mary has without a doubt changed my life for the better.
When we first met, I was at the lowest I had ever been- but with her advice and support, I've made my way to a place where I'm excited for a happy and healthy future.
She's also very accommodating in that she knows I struggle financially, and she does her best to work around a price point that benefits both of us.
I'd recommend her to anyone out there looking for some extra support- she's truly incredible.

A few years ago I was embarking on my maiden voyage into therapy, hopeful and apprehensive, seeking solace and understanding at OK Clinic in Kelowna. Upon meeting Jim Robertson, his welcoming demeanor and reassuring presence initially set a positive tone for our session. However, halfway through our conversation, the atmosphere shifted unexpectedly.

With a gentle yet firm demeanor, Jim requested that I refrain from cursing, citing his discomfort with witnessing abused women using profanity. This revelation caught me off guard, as I had never identified myself as an abused individual. In that moment, the delicate balance of trust and vulnerability was disrupted, leaving me feeling labeled, scolded and quite frankly sad.

Needles to say I haven't seen Jim or another therapist since then.

My clinical counselling has been great I can disect my issues with her she has great talent to get through my problems they all are incredibly understanding when I have emotional problems thanks for taking me on thanks Lea

Today Is the final day of her internship i just want to say thanks for her dedication getting me through my barriers and things she was joy to know and just LOVED every minute with her time for her to move on and i get new counsellor as of September 13 th

So had my first appointment with Senja she is great speaker and she's so far so good she has great knowledge and always open new ideas to share in my recovery from my ptsd and stuff thanks see ya soon

I reached out to the clinic in February as I was looking for a new therapist. They sent me two emails saying they had seen that I had filled out their form asking to be matched with a counsellor and said to reach out if I had any questions. I decided to go with a therapist at a different clinic in the meantime, as is up to my personal discretion.

Now, almost 2 months later I receive a call from them following up on these emails. I mentioned I've found a therapist in the meantime and am met with a defensive response saying the they called me multiple times to discuss options but couldn't get a hold of me. I went back through my calls and this was literally the first time they called me.

This all felt icky to me, as if to somehow hint that it's my fault that things didn't work out with them because I didn't reply to their calls, when, again, this was the first time I received a call from them. I'm not sure I've ever been blamed for choosing to work with a different company, and it felt especially shocking happening with a therapy group. Pretty wild.
