I would like to thank Wellbeing Suffolk for a range of support they have offered me in the last few months. Having to deal with redundancy has been an incredible anxiety inducing time and I have used their mental health services, including employment support. I'm very grateful that such services exist.

After being on my healing journey for a long time without therapy then receiving some has been a god send and today was my last session with Sophie O'Neil. I can't type into words how valuable the sessions have been but we worked through so much, I've learnt the tools to implement into day to day that will serve me well for the rest of my life.
But this was made possible because of Sophie, she is such a warm, caring, lovely person and straight away she felt like a safe place. So happy with the experience and even though I've had some awful experiences with Suffolk Wellbeing in the past, this experience has definitely made up for that. Thank you Sophie ?

I was sceptical about starting CBT with the Wellbeing service as I have tried before with no success, but I am happy I did because it has made such a difference to my day to day living. Having now been given the correct tools to be able to identify different behaviours and thoughts enables myself to have the confidence and the awareness to challenge them before they become a problem and impact my mental and emotional health. I feel relatively confident moving forward that I can continue to manage these alone, but also reassured that if I struggle in the future the ability to self refer back in is there.

I have found cognitive behaviour therapy to be very beneficial and have found my way back to a happier and less stressfull life
Thank you so much for helping me with my issues. i now feel i can tackle life once again and also enjoy life.
From start to finish i have been treated with utmost respect and understanding from my therapist and this is why i am able to feel better in myself , with the support and mindset i now have, i feel happy again.

Hello.
I had CBT treatment and really was waiting for those sessions.CBT therapist Zach was patient as I have cried a lot.
But suddenly my treatment been stopped and i been discarded one week ago on 6th of September. As situation with my finances so bad I did go to stay with my son in my country. And as I was not in UK treatment been stopped.
But those treatment sessions was not face to face.Was by phone with Microsoft team.
Can say that unexpected discard made me feel so upset and mood went down again.
Why?Why CBT treatment been stopped?
I did not go to my country for good.Did go for a while.And I will come back to UK this month.Need to look for a wellbeing help here in Lithuania.

I have had a great experience with the wellbeing Suffolk team, no matter how hard the problem, or how my moods have affected my therapy, my therapist Dan has been completely patient and honest with me. I feel now have the tools and experience from this to move forward with my life and start to live a greater one. My goal was to become happy and less anxious, and now I feel like I can conquer any troubles life may bring me with a lot more ease and less stress. I fully recommend therapy to anyone who has considered it or like me, tried it and never gave it a real go. This was my second attempt and I’m very glad I did this for me and for my life. They also helped me with extra support with employment support, which I feel was/is an amazing support to have! My CBT therapy has been the best decision I have made.

So the reason i was advised to self referral to Wellbeing Suffolk was to help with my mental health & through therapy help me to acquire new skills to manage & hopefully overcome my anxieties.
So after a few month wait i was assigned a therapist & began what was supposed to be half hour sessions over the phone .
I personally believe that half an hour is too short & would prefer face to face but this is how they conduct thereselves nowadays so i was told .
Obviously still working from home no doubt.
Back to my appointments then.
My third was arranged at the same time as the others at 5pm
As always i prepare 10 minutes prior in a room that has very good reception on my phone & obviously my phone is on

5.07 pm & my phone pings with what i would describe as a pre drafted email stating that my therapist had tried 3 times to call me .
I immediatley called out to my partner to ring my phone & guess what it rang.

Nothing wrong there then. Also in the pre drafted no reply ( how convenient ) email
my therapist stated i had to ring the number provided to state if i wanted to continue or go through the whole self referral again .
Personally for me this does nothing for my own mental health.
My partner too is appalled as i was looking forward to my 3rd session as the one prior had put in place some guidelines for me to start implementing.
If you are supposed to be helping people like myself with anxiety i suggest you take it more seriously & try to at least have some consistency
