Horrible place to go when you're suffering mentally. Manny was absolutely useless. He doesn't listen. He writes down the wrong things. Even Luke had to correct him several times during the first meeting, and Manny still got almost all the important details wrong- and then refused to amend his many mistakes during the last meeting. The last meeting I simply got up and left. I was made to feel even more worthless. Already suicidal. And he, Manny, would rather make jokes and tell me to speak up because he decided to sit on the chair furthest from me. Luke was okay. He couldn't actually offer any help because apparently the crisis team don't actually do anything when you're in crisis. They just talk. And they refer you to other services. I told Manny I intend to end my life if I can't get help on that last day. I'm currently sitting in the hospital after having an overdose the day I left Manny. This isn't the first time I have been failed by the mental health team. But it will certainly be the last. Do not go here if you are suffering. Find a charity. Speak to a GP. Literally go anywhere else or risk being put down and dismissed and not even listened to and you will almost certainly walk away feeling 1000x worse than you were when you walked in. Absolutely disgusting. Manny should be fired on the spot and never allowed to work with vulnerable people ever again.

My son is being treated terribly. Being thrown into a bb.and will only be seen twice a week .by the mental health team..my son and I have been treated awful going far back to 2004 .he's still on crack cocaine. Alcohol abuse and hasn't engaged with the team .he's in a mental health facility in stowmarket. Called cricket meadows. There not treated properly they can do what they want .the landlord orbit .have evicted him .my son is on high end medication. He will be in a b&b.within the next fortnight. I'm scared for his well being .Suffolk mental health don't give a shit .one of the worse places for mental health .

Absolutely disgusting treatment!
My Brother has been treated terrible and has received no support at all! When we called to discuss the situation staff were rude to myself and wife. We have had numerous occasions where he has put his life at risk yet they have kicked him out and said there is nothing wrong with him?! They didn’t even do the correct procedure when he left and let him make his own way home. Within an hour he is back in A&E being treated for an overdose of paracetamol! But it’s not a mental health problem according to them…. No wonder why people commit sucide with the appalling support that’s supposed to be there to prevent this.

Disgusting!

My Father was put in Woodlands for short term just to get his medication right as he has Alzheimer's. Under 2 weeks of him being in there, he was guided by a nurse, white as a sheet, lost a lot of weight and was not himself. He was in my care before this and I don't know what they done to him. I found out a couple of years later, Woodlands was giving electric shock therapy to patients without families consent. And yes, I believe they used this on my Father because after being in that awful place, he has been a zombie ever since and cant speak. You have ruined my life and the connection with my Father. I will NEVER forgive you!! And I DO NOT recommend this place at all!!

Cannot fault the two members of staff who spent an hour with my partner, who was in crisis. Clear plan made. Not the full five stars as the service that was expected/needed (admittance) could not be provided.
