I can not express enough how amazing this practice has been to me as a patient. The treage service and online hub is amazing and if you need to be seen the same day then you will be seen. All reception and admin staff are so kind and all the doctors are dedicated and committed to their role. I am so glad they are my gp practice. Thank you.

I absolutely Despise this practice, been with them for a decade , so trust me, it’s not one or two incidents It’s a culmination of 10 years of useless service .
I’ve always been at least 30 minutes early yet they keep me waiting a minimum of 40 minutes to over an hour (yes I know the NHS is stretched but it’s their all round lazy can’t be bothered attitude )

Actually calculated I’ve been sat waiting for over 8 hrs past the time I have had an appointment due - appointment times mean nothing obviously! That excludes how early I always got there
I’m trying to have checks to rule out cancer , they never followed up , they said they called back twice - they didn’t ,they rang once for a couple Seconds , where I couldn’t even get to my phone that fast . You can’t return the call and they never followed it up

So it was left for me to chase them as always today I finally get in -yet again I’m early and I counted 9 people go in before me despite them appearing to come on time .

My brother in law is a paramedic and said it’s important to get checked out , but CH Medical don’t do anything correctly .
This is a culmination of a decade of horrific service where they didn’t diagnose my knee properly (for years they got it wrong and a private specialist figured it out in 30 seconds)and , didn’t give a toss when I was in a car accident not of my doing .

Then there is one of the OTT receptionists he shouts out what’s going on so the whole surgery’s patients can hear what their personal problems are . Zero tact or discretion

The worst thing though was when I was kept waiting for 1hr 35 after my supposed time slot (again I was early )to walk through to a the doctor laughing at something on his Samsung (I won’t name him because my wife actually says he’s excellent with our children ) and he told me to “hurry up” that was the same week I lost my father and was struggling to cope with my sons kidney issues.

They don’t care , they don’t follow up and it’s been a miserable stressful and horrid experience from day one

Ill be advising anyone who will listen not to go here also

They even made appointments on the 2nd of October , Sent me a reminder the day before so I organised leaving work which meant losing money and childcare - they cancelled ONE HOUR before the appointment.

would not advise anyone to become a patient with this practice. get nurse claiming im saying one thing, while its not, been accused of being very rude and abrupt, yet again this is not the case, obviously this manager of this practice is going to support the staff at this set up. the patients dont get listened to, if so the staff here dont listen enough. had to give one star, but in honesty its a lot less than one star for patient service here.

Needed time sensitive medicine for a flareup of an existing condition, used the online contact from and my message was ignored by the practice - this meant my condition worsened and I was left in a lot of pain - which could have been completely avoided. If not for online pharmacy services which I reached out to, it would have gotten even worse. This practice should be investigated, as I am certain they switched to the online contact form so that they can ignore everyone!

Edit: received a call today from the practice manager due to leaving a bad review, I find it very perplexing that they have time to chase up on Google reviews, but not to arrange appointments.

Great GP. Same day appointments when needed. Mine was just telephone which was very convenient and still provided a necessary prescription. Dr Moore is fantastic, really listens. Receptionist are very helpful, genuinely caring and despite a stretched service will do what they can to help. Signposting to pharmacy first etc. etc.

Worst gp medical center ever my 4 year old wasnt feeling well all she needed was some antibiotics they made us wait 1 hour past our appointment time and once they had seen her they made it out as if she was about to die and needed to go hospital instantly to A&E which got me worried so obviously i rushed to hospital and after wasting hours in A&E the doctors told us shes just has a chest infection and she just needs to have antibiotics and she didnt have to come hospital what a waste of time!!!

Have to say, after reading some reviews I was sceptical about how my first visit to CH Medical would be. From appointment booking call, to check in at reception, appointment on perfect time, lovely nurse Katie.... I would give my experience 5 stars. Everyone was helpful, professional and friendly.
