I have had nothing but good experiences from the reception staff and the majority of the doctors and nurses at this practice. Every time I phone for an appointment, the person answering the phone is kind and polite. The doctors and nurses I have seen always make me feel comfortable and overall I have had nice experiences here. Having the practice on campus at the University is a huge bonus as I can fit appointments in around my lectures.

Unfortunately i do not have any orher options but these are the worst. Rude receptionists. They always avoid giving you an appointment as they always advice you to "just go to the pharmacy and ask for paracetamol". Also if my appointment is at 10:45. Why the hell fo i have to wait until 12 to get in ? If the patient came late you would have cancelled his appointment. But when there us demay you never let the patient know. How unprofessional that is.

Honestly call NHS if you want an appointment with them because apparently the receptionists here are the ones that decided that“ my condition was not serious enough to see a doctor”. So I called the NHS, explained my condition to them and they requested this health centre to give me an appointment. The Nurse practitioner was really nice though.

I was really nervous to call because of all the reviews about receptionists being rude but the lady I spoke to today was lovely and helped to get my appointment sorted. Don’t be too scared to call!!

When I went to the health centre for the first time in January 2023, the receptionist asked if I booked in. Since I was new to the place, I wasn't sure how to go about booking in via the monitor. I said I hadn't booked in and the receptionist gave me a rude look. Even when booking an appointment for the contraceptive implant, the receptionist was blatantly dismissive and made the process anxiety-inducing.

However, the nurses have been very patient and made me feel at ease when they explained the advantages and side effects of specific forms of contraception. The process of having Nexplanon inserted and removed was very simple, only downsides were minor bruising and a tiny scar. I had to avoid showering for two days which was a bit difficult. I decided to switch from Nexplanon to Depo Provera after heavy bleeding that went on for about 3 weeks. The switch was very seamless and I haven't had a proper period since.

Usually the doctors are really nice, and on a good day the receptionists can be helpful. More often than not though, the reception team is impatient, rude, and make you feel like you're bothering them needlessly. I asked for an adhd referral and they lost my questionnaire for 2 weeks (on the phone to reception one of the nicer ones finally found it, it had been lying on the counter and wasn't filed properly even though its supposed to be confidential). Brought this up later on and the staff gaslit me saying that never happened. Lots of other negative stories, i've walked away from there in tears twice.

The reception is the worst . The information they shave are inconsistent. They are so rude. They appointment time is never right. They put you on a telephone appointment which the doctor in the phone asked you to make a face to face appointments (like yeah that is what I was asking for I don’t know why I’m here) They tried to block you to make appointments. They are a real problem of this uni and they just want your money like this country.

Doctors are nice and they don’t deserve this score (oh but the front desk receptionists definitely do and they are the worst nightmare you will ever have)

First, receptionists suck, they are rude to patients. They didn’t solve my problems and kept asking me about the name of medicine. What’s wrong with you guys, who knows the professional terms of medicines?

Besides, one of diabetes nurses is so terrible, she even said I have language barrier. Excuse me? This nurse didn’t answer my questions; instead, she just blamed me without reason. I even felt that what she did to me is clear RACIAL DISCRIMINATION ^_^
