My partner had to attend ED we couldn’t fault the staff, although they are clearly under pressure we can only say throughout the time we were there we found kindness and care in abundance. Yes it was a fair waiting time , nevertheless we left feeling confident of the outcome . We returned to SAU the next morning as requested where once again every single person gave the same amount of care and attention. Even under pressure there’s a smile and reassurance from the minute we arrived. Thank you, I don’t know how you provide this amazing service day in and day out!

Transferred to ward 18 from ED over New Year. Hospital so busy but staff helpful and caring. Elderly mum admitted with pneumonia… nothing too much trouble despite staff shortages. Excellent and thorough care. We were kept well informed throughout. All levels of staff were available and helpful. Can’t really fault the ward staff.

Had to attend the A&E Department today and in a few words the service and care was superb.
Checking in was swift, triage whittled away the urgency and we where accommodated accordingly.
Caring staff operating under intense pressure, you should be very proud of yourselves for the service you provide.

My husband is a patient at the Sandra Chapman centre, what wonderful people they are. From the ladies on reception through to the specialist nurses and consultants. They are all top class. They are so kind and reassuring, it is a dark time when your loved one is diagnosed with Cancer and to have such kindness even when they are rushed of their feet is wonderful, plus the ladies that bring round the tea make a rather good cuppa,so that's a plus. Thank you all,We feel blessed to be under such good care.

Lost a stone from the inedible food, if you're having a hospital stay I recommend bringing enough food for your whole stay. Felt physically sick from hunger but the food was to disgusting to eat. When I first came to AnE I was told I was fine after waiting 6 hours then got sent home, I got worse tried to ring ambulance got told I will be waiting 3 hours so had to get a taxi, they finally agreed to examine me properly and found I had a collapsed lung. Got admitted and on second day the pain came back, doctor after being repeatedly called by nurses arrives 9 hours later and tells me women are " to emotional" as I was in pain. When finally rechecked my lung had re collapsed while waiting on him . Nurses were lovely and over worked, shame about the doctor and facilities and food.

After my
Mum was taken ill on holiday, she was given days to live. They went above and beyond to look after her while on palliative care. Also they were amazing on ward 9 looking after us after we’d travelled 4.5 hours to be there for 4 days. Such a nice group of people.

Brilliant experiences today in JPUH. TIA clinic, ECG, CT and MRI scans. Everyone everywhere including clinical staff, porters, clerical and M&S shop, was friendly, cheerful and helpful. It was clean and we were all done in 4 hours. Can't praise the staff enough, especially compared with a hospital we visited recently in the northeast!!

Go to norwich hospital instead !!!! If i could give 0 stars i would. I am an 18 year old that has been affected by FND. Now when i went in a&e they couldn’t understand what was wrong with me (thought i had an appendicitis) i stayed in for 2 nights and couldn’t move an inch of my body heart rate 140+ and they saw my dad and boyfriend having to carry me everywhere. I got discharged with nothing! No help, no contacts for physio or occupational therapist or anyone we had to come home still not knowing what was wrong with me with nothing ! I am now 6 months later down the line still unable to walk, stand, sit or use my shoulders. Every appointment i have had booked has either been cancelled or completely pushed aside! I tried calling the outpatients desk to see what was going on with my most recent cancelled appointment and ended up calling 8 times with no response, i just gave up in the end. Its so disgusting the amount of disrespect i have endured from james padgett hospital in just 6 months. I will be calling again on monday to express my feelings and upset too. I AM APPALLED !!!!
