I have had mixed experiences here. The worst one was being blue lighted in because I had a fall, only for A&E doctored to X Ray my knee, hand me a pair of crutches and send me on my way. 6 days later I was back in for the MRI that they SHOULD have done when I came in by ambulance.
Turned out I had ruptured my ACL and MCL ligaments. JPH then left me 18 months on crutches, no physio, nada!
Due to waiting so long before they operated, I had tears in my right knee, which in 2024 has now ruptured so got to have another reconstruction operation.
Another unpleasant experwas in 2007, up on delivery suite, midwife attempting to canulate me, kept digging the needle in until I was screaming in my partner's chest that it hurt. He had to tell her to stop as my hand was swollen and bleeding. Thank god my second son was born at N&N(much better hospital!)
Latest incident was when I fell because of right knee, lady consultant in A&E(lovely, reminded me of the pregnant one in casualty) diagnosed a scaphoid fracture which I saw on X-Ray too, but orthopaedic fracture clinic said there was never a break, didn't even re x Ray my hands, just went on original X-Ray.
Here's hoping my follow up orthopaedic appointment goes better............shall we?!?

Awful operating in someone and messing up their op then to tell them they didn't have to have an op in the first place!!! Really have left someone in pain and won't do anything to help told the person not to walk so much 😱 wouldn't even give one star.
