Poor service, unreasonable terms… once you have reached your limit for the claim year, you are able to submit leftover claims in the new claim year unless treatment has occurred after the plan renewal date so it is not a question of reaching your limit, it is a question of dates. So when they tell you that you are able to make claims older than one year, this is misleading and it is not strictly true.

Simplyhealth has been provided to me by em employer, and comes in handy for many cash claims. It is popular amongst my 50 colleagues and is well likely from the business perspective also.

I have always found it super easy to submit a claim, to monitor the progress of my claims, and to receive the money into my bank account.

There was only 1 incident where a claim was problematic. It was clear in the Terms & Conditions that I was not supposed to be able to claim for the item, however the reason for the lack of claim being allowed was completely stupid and pointless. It could be argued this was detrimental to health, however because of the largely popular usage of the scheme, I am still satisfied overall.

I've been with Simply health for years, and have never had any issues mainly because we never ask anything or make GP appointments. Once I had to call to clarify whether I can be covered and claim for sport massage (instead of osteopath), and I've been put on hold for 20 min. After that I've been told that they can't find my policy. Eventually when the lady found my policy (under joined policy with my husband), she said she can't confirm the details. It was my first call in probably 5 years or so. Terrible service, don't waste your time.

Very disappointed that from the end of the year are going on line. My father who likes doing everything for himself has a standard phone and no initernet. He's been a customer since the 70s. Yes I could do it for him but it is taking away his independence. This is no way to treat long term customer. It really annoys me that companies think everyone has Internet and imagine they don't mind losing the odd customer. He will now cancel his membership and I will to.

If telephoning, Simply Health be sure to sit down with a drink as you may become dehydrated waiting for a response which normally takes at least 30 minutes + (we pay for the call) during which time monotonous music is replayed over and over again. The medical service is abysmal and forget it if you want confidentiality or have not got a computer to check on their terms. I used to belong to HHA which was far superior, and which was taken over by other so-called providers. I am looking for another provider that is not administered by AXA as they are just money grabbers and no longer provide an ethical service. I have given the service one star as I wanted to post this review
It is now under American ownership and the new CEO is
SNEH KHEMKA. I am looking for other cover and as a specialist nurse I will advise my patients of the appalling service

Needed an EMERCENCY visit to a dentist. I was in severe pain with an large abscess and tooth ache. Only dentist I could find that was able to see me on a saturday at 8.20pm was 14 miles away. The treatment I received involved x-ray tooth extraction and a course of antibiotics. The bill came to £200 but simply health would only let me claim for £120 because they don't class it as an EMERCENCY visit even though it clearly shows out of hours tooth extraction and amoxicillin on the invoice. According to simply health cash back policy this comes under an EMERCENCY visit and can claim up to £500 "the information is on there website for you to see" . I got in contact with there customer service and spoke to someone called Jordan who was not helpfull, rude and couldn't wait to end the conversation and was told it was not an emergency visit by her and someone will contact you in 5-7 working days. Im going to cancel my policy and take one out with another company. I have been left with no option but to leave this review

1 week later. I have still not received a call. Poor customer service. Poor complaint handling.

Managed to get an appointment with a GP very quickly. The GP however then told me that the prescription you "need to start immediately today" was not possible becasue of SH. There was a 2 day minimum wait for any prescriptions. I am both upset and in pain, thanks SH.

Trying to use the on-line service to make a claim. The site is extraordinarily slow and consistently defaults to a page which informs me the page I require is not available. Even the 'Contact us' page is not available. Cannot log in as it doesn't recognise my password or username and I cannot even access the page to reset them. If Simply health want to maximise their profits by encouraging their clients to use the on-line service, then the website needs to work. I cannot even email them internally to register this thought or gain support. I give in.
