Can't get to see a Dr, I tried to get same day app as I've been very ill...was told I'd get a call back...I got a call from the receptionist saying I can't have a Dr's app untill I've seen the pharmacist. I won't put my medical issues here but a pharmacist will not cover it all. So no app..no triage...no Dr app.

Can't get a routine face to face doctors appointment for over a month, I was only offered a phone appointment. I am now on a 'waiting list' to be allocated a face to face one for an unknown date. Spoke to complaints manager today who said this system is recommended by the BMA.

I've always had good experiences coming to this doctor's surgery. The advice has been helpful and an appointment has been booked within need and availability. I've always gone away thinking I've been helped and want to thank all staff.

Having read some of the other reviews, I'd like to say that although I don't visit Redlands frequently, my personal experiences have been consistently good, as with Chiddenbrook before them. On this occasion it's Helen from the pharmacy team who I'd like to thank for going the extra mile, but I've received similar levels of care from other teams in the past too.

On the few occasions I've needed a doctor, an appointment has been found promptly, according to need. It might have meant initial assessment by phone or email but that's because appointments have had to be targeted in recent years. The unpalatable reality is that for a long time we have had a growing national shortage of GP's that hasn't been addressed, whilst simultaneously experiencing growing demand on ever-stretched resources.

There are only so many patients a single GP can see in a day; Inevitably fewer GP's means longer waiting times. It must be as frustrating for Redlands' doctors and staff as it is for some of the patients who've left reviews here.

Personally, I've nothing but respect for Redlands; doctors, nurses and staff alike. Praiseworthy levels of care and professionalism and, in my experience, a genuine desire to do their best for me, as promptly as they can.

I’ve always been well treated, whenever I’ve had prescriptions queries they have been dealt with in a timely manner, getting appointments is obviously not the easiest thing when you have an unknown number of patients who all feel they need an immediate appointment, but I’ve always found that when I am truly in need I can get an appointment when needed.
The staff, doctors and nurses have all been very professional, friendly and kind during my appointment.
I’m not sure what more you can expect from them, thank you for looking after me during my ongoing health care.

Had an appointment this morning. Nurse Sal was absolutely lovely, a credit to her profession. A kind, sympathetic lady with a huge heart.
Also made me a further appointment with a GP for the following Tuesday for further assessment. Excellent care in such difficult circumstances for the NHS. Don't abuse it!
Thank you.

I realised yesterday that I was about to run out of one of my tablets. I was worried because I knew it was important to take it every day and it would take a couple of days for the prescription to be put through by the surgery and made up by Boots. I went down to the surgery where the reception desk was very busy. The receptionist I spoke to was extremely helpful and pleasant. She went to talk to the prescription team who said they would mark it as urgent and that I could collect it from Boots at the end of the day which I did. Top marks to the reception team particularly and all those who contributed to this outcome.

I’ve always had a very positive experience of this practice but having received such excellent care from Redlands in recent days I felt I had to leave a review. After feeling unwell last week I called in on the off chance and explained my symptoms. Although I thought it wasn’t serious the receptionist said she thought I should see a doctor. I was seen within the hour and carefully assessed by a doctor who referred me urgently for hospital tests, after the symptoms became worse the next day I followed the GP’s advice and went to hospital where a serious health problem requiring urgent surgery was picked up. The care and kindness I received from the receptionist, the GP and subsequently the paramedic were outstanding. This practice, like every practice, is managing with high demand and limited staff and doing their very best to care for people. Thank you to the team at Redlands for everything you do,
