Jo was our maternity nurse for 2 months following the birth of our daughter. Her experience and support was invaluable. She quickly put us at ease and helped us through a difficult period following an emergency c-section and low birth weight baby.
With her support and help during the nights our child has progressed very well and is successfully reaching her milestones.

Jo is always calm, supportive and very punctual. She offers appropriate advice which we have been most grateful for. Would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a maternity nurse.

Joanne helped our family when our little one was 3-4 weeks old and I was going to be alone for consecutive overnights due to my husband’s work schedule. Joanne arrived and was both professional and personable in way that immediately put me at ease. It is clear she is knowledgeable in all of the technical ways of managing babies and new mums, but also in the interpersonal and intuitive way.

While she was with us, she was a huge help in not only caring for our little one but in supporting me as a new mum across the varied aspects it encompasses. (review by Alice): Joanne supported us in the lead up to my little boys birth with online and face to face catch ups where I was able to explain my birth preferences and we were able to make sure we were on the same page - this was not a problem as Joanne is a very warm, kind and empathetic person, whose experience shone through. We had planned for Joanne to come to our house when I was in labour but in the end we didn't have time as things were moving along so quickly so Joanne met us at the hospital. She was a great support during the labour and after the birth, and although things went amazingly well so Joanne didn't need to do much advocacy for me it felt good knowing that she was there if we needed her to. She also gave us space and time to ourselves, as well as taking some precious photos for us. Joanna also supported me post-natally with a couple of visits to the home as I was getting to grips with breast feeding and sleeping. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joanne to anyone who is pregnant and thinking about getting a doula!

Joanne came to look after our 7 month old son for three weeks, she arrived at a tricky time having had a bad experience with a previous nanny but with her calm and caring manner she soon bonded with our son and cared for him beautifully. She helped with his routine and developing his taste for solids. I would definitely recommend her, I particularly liked how she is keen on the outdoors and took our son for many walks / play in the garden. She was a huge help to us in a very busy period of our lives.
