My partner uses this surgery. I have known the front staff to be rude. My partner is currently suffering with prolapsed discs and this surgery is responsible for her pain management until we hear from the neurosurgeons. My partner is frozen in pain and panic on the sofa as I'm trying to write this. I spoke on her behalf a few moments ago and I'm left shaking being accused of being .. rude and other things. I will be asking for a recording of the conversation , I urge anyone to record their conversations with this surgery as a precaution. We spent 18hrs in A and E on Christmas day and they have some excellent staff, unfortunately not all are as deserving of our tax money.

Edit: I am genuinely nervous to call them back and be accused of harassment. This surgery has been appointed to help us and I really wish that wasn't the case.
To add, my partner and toddler have used this surgery multiple times and the medical staff have been excellent.

With regards to my toddler they have been absolutely brilliant in getting her a fast appointment. If I’ve text wanting one they usually have rang or text back within a few minutes with one. Only improvement would be maybe to put some child friendly things in reception but I’m sure there’s probably a good reason (hygiene). If so maybe on one of the TVs have something child friendly. Otherwise it can be quite clinical and scary.

I have always found the staff helpful and when able accommodating. The clinicians I have seen have been thorough and have listened to my concerns. Liz is amazing and helping me through a really tough time with my mental health. Thank you to you all

My most recent experience at the practice was excellent. I submitted a form which was triaged really quickly by the duty clinician, I was given a face to face appointment the same day with a really friendly and helpful Doctor, and the receptionist was cheerful and approachable. I was really impressed.

Adding this on as me and my partner have contacted Doctors regards our children on few occasions, last time being just this morning. I found the service very good and I spoken to a friendly Receptionist. The Doctors have also been super good with the kids on their visits.

I rang to try and make either an appointment or have a call back where I was greeted by the rudest most obnoxious receptionist I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Ended up ringing 111 instead where ecause of my symptoms I was referred immediately to the urgent treatment centre in beverley instead.(who where absolutely fantastic as was the person I spoke to on the 111 call).
I will be making a formal complaint against this rude receptionist who really shouldn't be doing the job she is. Judging by the other reviews on here I'm not the only one to have received a sub standard service

Like others have said, reception staff are exceptionally unhelpful and rude. I had the pleasure of dealing with one member of staff who was kind, efficient and helpful; unfortunately I did not get her name and this isn't the norm. Replies and approaches to appointment making are inconsistent and Trina especially is cold and unhelpful
