Had my gallbladder removed, they did it as a day case when it should have been at least an overnight stay. One of the nurses in the recovery are was not nice. Another one was in a big rush to discharge me. I felt like I'd been booted off the ward.

Modern building. Large car park. You have to pay before your appointment, which is difficult as the doctors always run late, so you end up over paying just in case. Have to pay even if blue badge holder. Pay machines in reception.
You check in on machines at reception and wait to be called to another waiting area for your actual appointment.
Has lift to all floors. Also has pharmacy and small Costa. Toilets including disabled. Good facility.

Wonderful experience at Macular Clinic (Acre Mills)yesterday (Monday). Whilst waiting in downstairs area to see if Mother's name came up or which chair was the most easy for Mother, a lady asked if she could help us and got us sent straight up to second floor. Congratulations on streamlining your service - no unnecessary scan or long wait - saving on resources that we have suggested for a while now. A lovely atmosphere amongst the team on yesterday (not always the case with some doctors),careful injection and time for conversation and help. Thank you, everyone.
