The worst medical practice I’ve ever used. Been having an eye problem for the past two weeks and I’ve gone to a nearby pharmacy where I’m currently working and bought different types of eye medication but the problem is persistent. For the past week or so I’ve been on their website several times around 0730hrs to fill in the form but Their online form doesn’t have the option for my eye condition. I called to book a telephone call with the doctor but Dr Mutha would not offer me any help with the prescription instead she stayed for more than 20 mins with the call handlers arguing why she can not provide a prescription. However, Writing up a prescription only takes less than a minute and I will buy the medication with my own money. I asked for ways to make a formal complaint and I was asked to come in in person to collect the form which I felt is a way of intimidation. I’m currently working 4hrs away from home and they know it’s not possible for me to spend 8 hrs on the road to collect a piece of paper. Dr Mutha decided to offer me an appointment on Saturday knowing for sure it’s impossible to drive for 8hrs to be seen. All I wanted is a prescription
I would like to make a formal complaint or report this Dr to relevant authorities

Act like God that is just the co ordinator. I'm an educated person, they treat you with utter contempt. Withhold medication which I've been on for many years. I've been told ill get a call back when they are ready. Absolutely awful treatment. My medication allows me to function. I have ran out. I need this to be able to work.

dr Luke is an abhorrent man. Belittled me, laughed at me, didn't take anything I said seriously, acted like I just wanted attention despite taking years to reach out to try and get help. He told me my problems were due to me "not trying hard enough" and bullied me into agreeing because as a young adult I was not confident enough to stand up for myself.

Another man whose name I can't remember was also awful to me and caused me to break down sobbing in the GP. he had no sympathy whatsoever after I said I was literally at my limit and couldn't go on, just sat in his chair with a smirk on his face and said "there's nothing we can do for you". No advice, no refferal to someone who could help, no follow up appointment, no medication. Incredible how a doctor apparently can't do any of those things.

Another male doctor pressured me to agree to calling my mother to take me to a psych appointment even though I said she wasn't a person I felt safe with. He asked again and again until I agreed, I wasn't allowed to say no. As expected, she turned up and got mad at me, and left me there. The next time I had an appointment with that doctor he chastised me for not going to the appointment and used it as a reason why he shouldn't take what I was saying seriously.

The female Doctors on the other hand I not only had no issues with, but went above and beyond to help me. One woman saw me crying after one of these bad experiences, and went with me to make sure I got home safely. another brought me into her office and hugged me and gave me a mental health form to fill in because I was struggled to talk.

Because of those men I now have medical trauma and have extreme issues accessing healthcare. I was recently diagnosed with autism and adhd which was very obvious in hindsight but no male Dr there would listen to me despite me struggling every day. They discriminated against me because I didn't seem genuine to them, but it was my autism making me appear "different" and I couldn't act "normal". Women are disproportionately underdiagnosed and misdiagnosed and men like this are perpetuating that with this awful treatment.

If you're unfortunate enough to have to use this GP at least try to see a female Dr as you'll have a better chance of not getting traumatised.

It's about time all patients know that GPs are not employed by the NHS merely contracted to them. After GPs have received funding it's entirely up to them how they run their practice, they are not regulated by the NHS. I heard this from Frimley ICB who deal with complaints. Basically GPs can do what they like regarding patient care. Eighty years ago GPs were against the NHS and were placated into accepting it. They continue to dictate their terms to governments whilst their colleagues in the NHS hospitals are overworked and underpaid. THIS MUST CHANGE NOW. Some time ago this practice basically struck me off because I complained, again they make their own rules, hospitals can't and don't.

Yes it's difficult to get an appointment but it's the same all over the U.K.
If I call for treage I'm always seen or get a phone consultation. I've even used the online service which beats being on hold all day long.
I never seen to see the same doctor and those I do see have always been helpful, kind and I'm never rushed out the office, they take their time to listen to my issues and even pick up on my mental well being so can't really fault them.
I'm not the kind of guy who likes a chin wag so a "hello, here is my problem, that's a possible solution, here is your prescription" suits me just fine.

Very rude staff. The woman behind the counter had a problem writing down a couple of medications on the paper which was on the repeat. She said she was not allowed to do so....
I asked what she was doing there then, and her manager jumped over and said she had to do other things.
My question is who is more important than the patient in the GP Also, she is sitting at the front desk, the first contact.
I just asked them to write down the names of two tablets for my mum, it was too much for her.

The manager said I was rude because I asked for something.
I think the manager needs more training on how to deal with a difficult situation the women behind the counter were not ready to leave on their own.
Very unpleasant GP.
To improve give the manager extra training and explain to her that is not a beauty salon it is the GP, where are people with health issues.
