I have to start this review with a warning. Find a different practice, appalling patient experience, if you have a major health issue you will find that it is likely to badly let you down.
I base this on my own experience and the experience of a friend who is still recovering from a serious health issue that this practices incompetence has made worse. He left the practice and only then did he get treated and is now about to have emergency surgery for something that could have been avoided. For 8 months he was in agony and park only offered telephone consultations. They prescribed pain killers and he called frequently to say that they were not helping a doctor advised him to try doubling the dose to see if this helped and said give it several days. I witnessed this call. 10 days later he rang to say that there was no improvement in the pain and he was almost out of medication. They became very concerned that he ran out as he should have had another two weeks, he explained that he was advised to double the dose and they said that there was no record of this advise and insinuated that they were now concerned that he may be miss using the medication. He asked if he could be examined and if he could either try a higher dose. They reduced the dose and suggested calpol. And when he said this is not good enough they ended the call. He then got a letter saying he was abusive and any future infraction they would remove themselves as primary carer. I was also present with him on that call too and could not believe it. He then became hesitant to call again, he had repeat prescriptions but he got worse.
I personally had a difficult experience with this practice.
It turned out he had a life threatening condition he could loose the loss of his legs or even worse it could kill him, and all because of it not being treated earlier
Shame on you park medical

Such a poor gp surgery...I've been registered there for years and the place has gone down hill so heavily I'm now looking elsewhere for a better GP surgery. I'm on morphine for a chronic pain condition and two months on the trot they've failed to perscribe this and left me to suffer. I had to phone them to get this sorted and it left me without for two horrific days. Stay away.

I haven’t been to the doctors for a couple of years, fortunately, however, I required an appointment two weeks ago and registered with Anima. I sent through what the issues were, had correspondence with the GP within an hour and received an appointment on the same day (within a couple of hours) to attend the practice. The GP was extremely understanding, informative and professional. I received a hospital appointment later that day to attend 5 days later. Considering the resource issues that the NHS are facing, my experience was fantastic from start to end and was very much above my expectations.

Twice now in the past few Months, once with a severe case of conjunctivitis and today with infected tonsils and inflamed lymph glands had no joy in reaching reception 08.00-10.00 am. Waste of time! Resorted to 111, who were very helpful, but contacted me back to inform me that I was no longer registered at that practice. Why . . . Either I or the receptionist had an answer. Do I need to be ill all of the time to remain registered? Rarely need to go to the GP, surely that’s a good thing! Had this same conversation Months back when had conjunctivitis. Had no joy with GP and had to resort to going to the pharmacy, showing the extreme eye infection I had, they prescribed me with antibiotic drops on the spot. I explained no chance of treatment from GP and spent hours at the emergency drop in clinic before walking out. They were disgusted to be fair. Can I ask, WHAT I pay my NI contributions for? As can never get treatment when required, but I’m sure those on benefits do. It’s a joke, and I will be looking into transferring to another practice, that is more accessible. Had enough of this one! Spent roughly 5 hours on the phone, whilst unwell and working today to get a result. A complete shambles! I know my body, suffers with bouts of bacterial tonsillitis when run down, antibiotics could have just been prescribed after my long awaited phone consultation (after several hours). Not impressed at all! I will be looking for a new GP practice as they are of little or no help when you really need it anyway! But, I’m sure they’ll be happy as removed me from their patient list twice already, without me even being aware - top healthcare!

Been trying for over a week now ringing from 8am to even leaving the choice to hold my postion and never get a call back.. then also last week ringing about having high blood pressure and needing to see a doctor. Was put on hold and because I was asked am I pregnant.. said no.. they couldn't see me.. now it's a weekk.. my pain and symptoms are worse, I've had a lump that needs checking and can't.. and let me not forget a smear, and also since having my son haven't even been checked either appointment cancelled or nurse rearranges appointment would not recommend to anyone
