Hard to get an appointment on the day but if you have something non-urgent and you're prepared to wait a week or so, they have an online booking system that works well. I saw Dr Nair and she was excellent. Have had mixed experiences with the staff at this surgery but think it's important to say that there are good doctors here too!

Seems like nowadays you can aquire a Dr degree from the local off Licence with the job role reading: - No experience needed - No empathy needed - must be ill-mannered - must not care about what the patient needs - must be able to tell the patient that you don't have enough time - don't forget to let the patient know that you do not prescribe medication at this particular practice - If you do decide to prescribe medication based on mercy, give the patient the total opposite to what they really need!

Horrible service by a particular Dr today!

Finally got an appointment because I waited outside of the surgery from 8am. Walked in bang on 8.30am before the "phone line" appointments could all be taken. Clearly couldn't fob me off today with that hit line "no appointments left, try ringing again in the morning".

After reading the reviews, it is evident that this practice is failing on many parts.

Go to call at 8:30 keeps on saying user busy rather than putting you in a queue to speak to someone, and if you need documentation for something you still need to wait a week to speak to a doctor instead of the request documentation being delivered to you within the next few days.

Next time I try to call them they tell me I have to do it online despite the online system not working properly.

They buggered up my sick note for work since I cannot do my labour intensive job with a separated shoulder, first time they didn't do it for as long as required, second time they're saying that they cannot back date it despite the first one being back dated.

If you can go to east barwell or Chesterton then apply for one of those GP health centres, if not then just pray that your health won't decline here.

Reading some of the stories of poor care on here is truly shocking. However, it is always true that people are more likely to share their bad experiences on here rather than the good ones. I am writing this to contribute to a more balanced picture.

I have had a chronic auto-immune disorder for almost 20 years and have got to know many GP surgeries over that time. This is no different to any other, reception staff a bit snippy after enduring years of frustrated and hostile patients, GPs stretched to the limit. To think that the service would be radically different anywhere else is to fool yourself. My advice is to make full use of all the online services for prescription ordering (Pharmacy2U), the NHS App and MyChart.

I would like to highlight a very positive experience I had today with Dr Yen-Xuan. She very quickly and efficiently worked through the 4 items on my list (always make a list before an appointment people!!!) and did so with great understanding, good humor and honesty.

Best of luck to all my fellow patients and thank you to NRMC for doing your best under difficult circumstances.

Absolutely shocking service, this place needs to be closed down.

I requested repeat prescription well over a week ago for my mum and I'm still chasing. My pharmacist has also chased for a week. I spoke to a lady today, who couldn't confirm SLAs for prescriptions requests, shocking as surely patients may want to know when they'll get their meds. If my mum doesn't get her meds today, in particular high blood pressure meds, there is a high chance she could have a heart attack over the weekend.

Thanks Nuffield road surgery.

I don't know if the problem is in that clinic or the country's healthcare system, but coming to an appointment is just a waste of time. I never had a single issue solved here or received a proper answer to my health problem.

Went with my dad as I had mental issues. (Im 22). No one at the front desk, No staff about. Papers all layed out of personal documents. Then my dad had to argue with the "nurse" so i can be seen as my mental issues were bad

Really has improved lately. My wife was seen same day and the doctor was very thorough, not rushed and diagnosed the issue
