Had an appointment yesterday for my 10 months daughter. She has been visited by a friendly, young practitioner (no GPs available at least for young children?) but we have not been happy with the consultation and it's not the first time that happens.
Overall, there is a very high chance you will see a nurse rather than a GP, I do not question their preparations and skills but sometimes it's not ideal.
I would go straight to private next time so we don't waste our and their time.

Just been decorated, so smell of paint. Although windows open to reduce smell. Nurse very friendly and professional. Explained everything clearly

Excellent practice, the level of care, professionalism, and kindness is exceptional.
I normally get very anxious when my son is not well, but as soon as I called reception, I was so well treated, with immense compassion by the way the reception lady talked to me. I felt at peace straight away.
Since I am new to Ely and had not registered because of the Pandemics, and my son needed emergency appointment; Valery took care of everything to make it all possible.
Later on (not even 30 minutes) I had a call from the doctor, she listened, cared and assured all would be fine; she arranged an appointment to see the senior nurse (on the same day), who was beyond believe - so much empathy and professionalism. Of course, no need to say, my son had also first class treatment.
There is a pharmacy on the side and in need of medication you can collect it there.
I have only gratitude to all staff, and peace in my heart to know whenever we need, my family and I will have an excellent care. Thank you so much!

This is a fantastic practice. I’ve never struggled to get an appointment when needed. Using ask my GP, I can be in touch with a GP or nurse within hours. No longer am I having to call at 8am to wait in queue for 1 hour, then days/weeks for a face to face appointment, like at my old practice. The reception staff are especially lovely, empathetic and accommodating. The GPs and nurses are fantastic too. I feel very supported and cared for at this practice. Later hours for people working full time, are especially helpful with the added benefit of a pharmacy next door. I couldn’t recommend Cathedral Medical Centre more.

I had my booster here. The process was so well organised, I was in and out in 5 minutes. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I barely felt the jab, unlike my first 2!

His briefing was succinct, crystal clear, wholly reassuring and appropriately congratulatory; he has thus motivated me to achieve even more, a vital skill in the overall objective, namely that continuing monitoring and prevention obviate the necessity for treatment.

Used to be good, but now it is awfull.
They mixed up tests, could not sort out referral for a year, mess up with appointments. Really dreadful service.
