Have had to be seen a few times in the last few weeks, after waiting 30 mins for receptionist, have been given an appointment for that day. All staff members I’ve seen have been excellent and considerate. Had I reviewed them a few years ago it would have been terrible but they have really turned things around. Receptionists have the thankless task for trying to juggle everyone’s needs, but they do a good job.

Update: reduced to three stars because prescription was sent to wrong place and now have to wait 2 days for it unless I cancel this prescription, which I can’t do because they close for lunch.

If you have a toddler under 2 years old in trouble with a fever, forget calling them past 8:30am. They will just fob you off to 111 or A&E. In fact you don't even need to be an infant, you can be any age.

Yet again, this is one of the many reasons why the NHS can't cope.

Doctors surgeries just needlessly overspilling to A&E for certain non life threatening symptoms... And then you wonder why A&E has such long wait times...

I can only review based on my own experience which has been great. The Doctors have taken my concerns seriously and have been very friendly, yet professional.
I do agree with people that the booking system is flawed and certain Reception staff are too blunt and dismissive.
But overall I've been very happy with my ongoing experiences.

They are responsible for my stepdads death and they refuse to see my mother who is suffering with lung cancer and has bad rib pains to were it is. They do not have a duty of care for any of their patients.

Whilst the staff are amazing and I have no complaints about the drs, nurses and other staff here, they have all been excellent. The reason for a 3 star rating is because of how difficult it is to get an appointment. You need to ring at exactly 8.30am in the hopes of getting an appointment that day. You can not book ahead. You can be waiting on hold for 30+ minutes and still not be able to get an appointment. You have to try again the next day and hope for better luck. I believe they are working hard to improve this so hopefully things will change with time.

It's almost impossible to get an appointment.
I have issues that require speaking to a GP and can't get to see anyone.
It's utterly insane.

Had a great first experience at the surgery visiting the nurse practitioner today. The whole consultation felt thorough and not rushed. The nurse was very compassionate and I left feeling reassured. Took a little while to get through on the phone but this is likely to be because of being a Monday morning and being the only surgery in the town. The receptionist on the phone was very friendly and helpful.

Definitely not an adequate service we need another surgery in Chatteris, private or otherwise with it's own chemist. If the George Clare Surgery is not capable of administering a reasonable service for you then try Push Doctor, online. If you need a prescription they send a code to your mobile, you have to get the med from boots chemist, best to call to see if they have the med in stock.
