Took my 93 year old mum for an appointment and had to wait 20 minutes beyond the appointment time before she saw her. (If we had been 2 minutes late, I don't think they would have been very pleased) However the doctor showed a caring attitude so I won't leave a one star review.

Usually this surgery provides outstanding care but it depends which doctor you get.Recent times I've been to see different doctors at the surgery and I don't know where they get their training from but they don't have a clue about simple health problems even Google knows more than them! However, Dr McHardy ,Dr Hubbard and Dr Wagstaff are excellent doctors ,they're very knowledgeable, they've helped me alot. The nurses that do smear tests are very good at their job as well, it's always a good experience, they've always been caring. The other nurses are also very good at their jobs, very caring, friendly and take care of you.The problem is it can take longer to see the doctors that you would rather see. There's good and bad things about this surgery, the nurses are great but the doctors are like a lottery some are good at their job and others need more training. The receptionists are understanding and always listen to you . I would recommend this surgery.

I had to leave this review because the service and attitude of both the reception staff and their nurse was terrible. I’m disabled and have a manual wheelchair. I must say tat if you’ve got a manual self propelled wheel chair don’t even go there. I had an appointment and couldn’t get up the ramp by myself I tried to ring and the queue on the line was massive. This then had a knock on effect. In the end an old man walking by seen me stressing and pushed me up the steep ramp. I then couldn’t reach the check in machine and I struggled opening the 2nd door. I went to the reception and they didn’t even acknowledge I was there. When someone noticed they said you’re late! I said had you helped I would have been on time to which she said I’ve booked you in. It now gets worse. I needed to get a blood test and get weighed and measured to to enable me to fill in the form for a different wheelchair. The nurse said what’s the test for and I told her she replied I’m not doing that now because you were late. She did however take the blood and I got half of what I’d asked for I told her I needed to get weighed and measured for the form which was important and she said I don’t do that and I was rather upset and left. So back to reception nobody noticed I was there they were too busy talking about their personal lives. the next appointment is in a month. Which was far too long but I had no choice but to accept and the reply when I for a sooner one was. We don’t have one and reminded me it’s my own fault I was late. I ended up getting upset and left No help was offered to me to get out of the building. I must say that I was spoken down to and make me feel inferior. If they had answered the phone or checked the security camera they would have seen I couldn’t get up the ramp. I had another appointment and it was upstairs which I couldn’t get up there and resulted in a rebook. The building in reality isn’t an accessible one and wants removing from their website

New patient already off to a bad start. From the rude obnoxious attitudes of the male doctors that don’t care about anything you say or pay attention, to the rude passive-aggressive receptionists. Visited three times and had a bug a few days after three times. Terrible cleanliness here. Red flag. When hand sanitiser near the entrance is empty for weeks and there’s a waiting area full of coughers that hence forth and cough all over everywhere then touch the door, if you’re not poorly when you visit you will be after it. Stay clear! Also if you’ve a pram don’t forget the stairs!

I was a little anxious before going for my smear appointment today but I've had an absolutely wonderful experience. Nurse Lisa made me feel really relaxed and talked me through the process. Thank you once again!

I thought when things changed and this surgery became part of Don Valley Healthcare the service would change but obviously not i have had three appointments for my sons Ears to be syringed and all three times when we have arrived oh sorry the nurse on today is unable to do under 16 year olds and then oh sorry we have double booked you will after make another appointment, totally incompetent they could not run a bath never mind a surgery three times my son has spent days putting ear drops in ready for the nurse to syringe them and three times you have failed to even look at his ears meanwhile he now cannot hear anything as the drops have made it worse you are supposed to be there to help and make people better not worse you are a complete joke and a waste of peoples time.

Fantastic surgery wonderful staff. Always polite, helpful and reassuring.
They've helped me for many years with personal issues. Recently after hearing that they could possibly be merging with another GP which is over a 1 hour walk away from me I'm now worried my anxiety levels are soaring. I always walk to my GP in Bentley due to public transport being too much for me. I'm now faced with the possibility of having to change GP to someone who doesn't know me and my personal issues or having to walk miles and stay in my comfort zone.
The bentley surgery offers mon-fri appointments of they merge with another practice it would mean a loss of days too available for a person to see their normal doctor.
