I moved to Marlow about 4 years ago. Marlow Club was the first gym I went to but since then I have tried so quite few gyms in the area. I always come back to the Marlow Club. The genuine members of staff who are always welcoming and ready to help. I am so impressed with the swanky new equipments since the refurbishment. There's an option work out outdoors if you would like to brave the cold in the winter (they have lovely outdoor heating) or enjoy the sunny workouts when the sun's out.
Rest & Recovery are also in one roof as there have pools, steam room and sauna. The lounge serves deliciously healthy food as well. All in all, if you're looking a gym that covers all aspects of your health and even beauty (check out the salon and beauty treatments) Marlow Club serves as an amazing hub for your overall wellness.

I joined a 3 month plan and was very motivated and excited to join. However my experience with the gym has not been that great.

As part of my plan I got 6 PT sessions included and I never used, as the PT was not available the times I could attend the gym.

I requested my PT sessions to be transferred over to reform Pilates and hot yoga. Once again I struggled to book on as all classes were fully booked. Even the gym classes are always full and you can not get on the classes as waiting list had 16 people waiting or even more. When I did speak to someone about this I was informed I could call them up and as I’m only here for 3 months they will give me first spot available. Who has time to call up every time you want to book a class.

I wasted my money and probably went a total of 3 weeks. Don’t waste your money on this plan. They promise you get everything included but don’t tell you about classes are all full and PT booked up in advance. I ended up not going after 3 weeks.

I joined the Marlow Club this year as a member, having previously joined just Pila Yoga. The facilities are incredible, much better than a previous gym I was using locally. The staff here are just wonderful and I've found myself with lots of new friends as well as being able to come along with other friends. The range of classes is fantastic with exceptional instructors and so easy to book through the app. I've been working with Alfie on my training programme and recently saw physio Matt, who was easily able to then work with Alfie to alter my programme for my specific needs. The Marlow Club is awesome, and I'm so glad I joined!

Love it here, best gym experience ever, plus I am benefitting from 121's with Beccy and now seeing the physio Matt to help with my shoulder. Loving the various classes and the opportunity to have a snack, breakfast or lunch when time permits. Great place, really enjoy the kindness, the receptionists warm welcome. So happy, I made the leap and the investment is well worth it

I absolutely love this gym! The new update in facilities are top-notch, with a wide range of equipment that caters to all fitness levels. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, from Abby and Cory on the reception to Lewis, Dylan and Amy on the gym floor, everyone is always ready to assist. The cleanliness and hygiene standards are impeccable, creating a comfortable workout environment. Overall, a fantastic gym that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a positive and effective workout experience.

UPDATED. Back and running like pre-covid and the club excelled throughout the pandemic to support its members. I light of few recent incident I feel worth updating the review as important reviews stay present. I still believe it could do with a touch up here-&-there. They say you get what you pay for – well, as I have said before The Marlow Club isn't cheap in any sense and there are a lot other gym better equiped around for a lot less Buzz and Anytime to name a few so its balancing act between paying through the nose but somewhere you love or moving and paying less for somewhere you don't like as much but can afford.

I had heard mixed reviews about The Marlow Club ranging from great to poor but decided to find out for myself and join. This is my honest and I hope helpful thoughts. and maybe help to remove some of the myths as well as give people considering joining a better insight.

So here goes:

PRO’S:
- ABSOLUTLEY fabulous reception staff. No matter what time you arrive you are greeted with a smile and welcome rarely found anywhere today.
- Facilities are simply incredible from Spa to gym to studios to onsite barbers!
- Gym equipment is modem, although very cardio and cross fit orientated rather than weight training.
- Outside gym area and private matted stretching area is cool
- Range of classes are fantastic and well attended
- Cafe area lovely place grab coffee and chill after a workout
- Back to full capacity, great range of equipment
- Brand New workout room
- great changing rooms
- Little touches like personal wipe down clothes everyone uses (hoping not just a Covid thing)
- Facility run professionally and to very high standard by club management

- CONS
- Slamming of the weights to make sure everyone knows what you’ve lifted - ffs we get it you are strong!! But saw an elderly member nearly jump out her skin one morning. PTs seem to encourage it.
- It is expensive but only if you don’t take advantage of full facilities

I recommend trying it for yourself.
