People don’t compliment enough… I did an econsult yesterday AM and was called by 8.30 and offered an appt that morning.
Dr Bevan was really kind and understanding and I felt I was given the time and not rushed at all. Thanks!

9 years ago I had the most horrific experience here in the 'mental health' department. Full of misconceived notions, conceptions and ideas. They really had no idea what was going on with me. I am not sure if it would have been much different anywhere else in the 'mainstream medical' system. But I really do need to state how horrific it was here. Plus they had very strange conceptions about patient confidentiality. It has been a journey, but luckily I am in a much better 'emotional' place 9 years later.

Be more human about people going through periods of 'emotional turmoil' rather than looking through a purely medical lense.

Dean was brilliant. He was very patient and truly listened to me, taking the time to explain complex topics. It felt like a collaborative experience where we came up with a treatment strategy together. I never felt that he was unfairly dismissive of any ideas, always explaining his rationale and taking into account my thoughts. Thank you, and keep up the great work!

We are always being told to get our Moles checked if you have concerns. I waited over 2 weeks for my appointment and when I did see Dr A he barely examined it, but came to the conclusion it’s Benign. Moles are now classed as Cosmetic apparently. He then gave me the name and phone number of a Dr at New Hall Hospital, Salisbury, and if I want it removed then I will have to pay for it. In the meantime, the cream he prescribed to stop the Mole from itching hasn’t helped whatsoever.
Years ago, a GP would remove a mole and send it off for analysis, but not now.
I’m still shocked a week later at the apparent lack of care from this practice. In fact I would go as far to say it’s not fit for purpose.

I called up to make appointment. During waiting in queue on the phone a recorded message keeps playing every so often saying that you can do it online to free up the line for people that need it. I was feeling extremely ill and felt I wasn't able to concentrate on doing this task. After waiting in line I finally spoke to someone that told me I had to fill out the questionnaire on-line to get it triaged. After a few attempts I filled out the online forms and received a call later that day asking me to come in for an appointment later. I went to the appointment and was given a prescription for antibiotics and steroids.

This practice do a good job of nothing more than providing terrible care from start to finish. Not taking a call from the patient in the first place who offload vulnerable people onto a website that could have been made by an idiot and hiding behind simpleton clerical staff.
