Very happy to provide a review for Richmond Villages Wood Norton. After 3 weeks respite stay we were able to move Mom and dad permanently into an assisted living apartment just yesterday. We can’t fault everyone we have come into contact with in the last few weeks, their immediate care for my parents has been wonderful and we all feel we have known everyone for a long time. The facilities are first rate and nothing is too much trouble. It’s even a place that we enjoy visiting. With many thanks to Tori, Jacalyn and all the team from reception, hospitality, the care team, housekeeping and maintenance teams.

I've visited many high-end retirement villages, but this surpasses them all in quality of the building, atmosphere, design and furniture but most importantly customer service.
Steve the receptionist and Louise of Activities are such a rare find. With their kindness, attention to detail, personality and care, they have looked after me impeccably and I have nothing else but gratitude and praise.
The residents and owners here are very lucky indeed.

I cannot speak highly enough about Richmond Villages, the facilities or the people!

We are in the difficult phase of planning for my mother to move to Richmond Villages after the recent loss of my father, so as you can imagine this is a bit of a difficult time.

Everyone we have met has been amazing, Tori Sword is simply outstanding making the whole experience not only professional and welcoming but actually enjoyable and friendly in these difficult times. Tori's interaction with my mother and whole family has helped enormously and my mother is now looking forward to moving, a complete change from before we met!

The "feel" and the facilities are also out of this world, from the minute you walk in you can just feel the ambience and it feels special.

Having walked around several times looking at the facilities and the apartments we are so impressed with what is on offer; on-site (in-site?) hair dressers, spa's, swimming pool, gym etc. you could not ask for more.

Everyone we have met has been friendly and welcoming both staff and residence, indeed my mother has met several people already who I am sure will become good friends once she moves in, which is such a relief to the rest of the family.

Overall, I cannot recommend Richmond Villages highly enough and I will be putting my name down to become a resident (once I am old enough)

My husband and I were received very cordially on our visit and given a delightful tour of the Wood Norton facilities by Jackie, who also took the trouble to show us their typical independent living apartments. All the facilities looked second to none, beautifully finished and immaculately presented. The village looks an amazing place to spend one's retirement.

My experience with the wonderful team on Hanbury care unit was such a positive one, despite the tragic circumstances, when my Mum spent four weeks there at the end of her life. I was anxious to find the best nursing home for her needs & know I absolutely made the right choice. I was impressed by the beautiful decor, cleanliness & fresh smell of the entire facility. The managers, nursing & care staff could not have been more attentive- checking on Mum & I frequently & showering her with love & kindness. The nurses were always willing to answer questions or address my concerns about her condition & they never made me feel like a nuisance. They spent time getting to know us & updated me daily on how she was doing. Mum could not talk but I knew from the way her face would light up with a big smile when she was with the staff that she felt safe & cared for. As she approached the very end of her life I was allowed to stay & the staff were so supportive & respectful. I 100% recommended them.

Have just had a wonderful two night “ taster “ stay at Wood Norton.
The most fantastic staff in all areas. Friendly, happy faces everywhere. The accommodations are lovely, couldn’t be better.
Will certainly be thinking of our future needs . Residents all seem more than happy.
