Can't believe how standards have fallen here. After multiple calls over 15 minutes I eventually got through to someone. I explained how my chemist had not, as yet, received my prescription, but was told that it had been already been sent across to them and there was nothing else she could do. I asked what I was supposed to do, to which she replied that she had no more time for me and the phone was put down on me. I have now been without medication now for 5 days.
Is this really the caring profession
I think I'll be looking elsewhere.

They've done it again.
Chemist tells me my prescription has not come through, but practice staff say it has been sent over ( different chemist this time, so are they both wrong ? ).
Phone practice and given a bar code number only for the chemist to tell me it has expired as it was last months code.
Words fail me.

I rang the surgery yesterday for a district nurse to call at the house. Was told by receptionist to sit and was as they could call at anytime no time scale just 9 t 5 rang again at 4.50 to be told the nurse was still coming sat from 11am till midnight last night and nothing. The standard is a shambles not even a phone call this morning to treat pensioners like this is a disgrace if that was me missing an appointment. IWONDER

I would rate this zero star if I could. Receptionists are very unhelpful and next available appointment to see a Dr is 4th September for a telephone call between 8:00am & 12:00pm not helpful when you work out on site and can’t answer your phone!

The support I’ve received from the wonderful reception team and Dr Khan and Dr Singh has been outstanding in relation to the care of my father and mother George and Elsie Tate. They both have been through many health problems over the last few years but have always received excellent care and help from the practice team. My father recently passed away and the support my mother Elsie has received in recent days has been exceptional. I can’t thank you all enough. The public are quick to complain about the NHS but unfortunately not very quick to give praise for going that extra mile like Dr Singh last night ringing me at 8pm with advice and help with medication in relation to my recently bereaved mum.

One individual receptionist is extremely rude with a very bad attitude. Spent 16mins waiting for an answer to then be put back on hold. When the lady finally answered again she sighed deeply down the phone I think to let me know I was putting her out. Requested a prescription as instructed by my doctor to do previously to then receive a lecture /stripping down from said receptionist. She has either been in the job to long or needs a refresher course on people skills. I've never had a problem with any of the others all very polite and make you feel at ease.

Never able to get through to reception on the phone as they only have 1 phone line and refuse to have a queue system so line is constantly engaged - just today I have phoned a total of 28 times throughout the day, phones always engaged and before the excuse is offered, it is not a GP training day (I suspect they even leave the phones “off the hook” so no one can get through). Some of reception staff are exceptionally rude. The GP surgery also refuses to be on system one which all community services and a lot of referral services use, so the practice is always weeks and most of the time months behind current information / consultant advice / etc.. 0 regard for patient care in this case. The GP surgery needs to do a lot better. I have had a partner GP from this surgery, calling me on the phone screaming and shouting at me for complaining about the service - To the GP surgery, get your phones sorted, get your systems changed to system one and start improving the patient care or else close your doors. If this was a restaurant with a 2 star or lower rating, it’d be out of business by now.

Just left this practice.
Difficult to get through to book an appointment. When you can get through I’m just about always told my Doctor is on holiday.
Quite often get told to ring back next week to see if an appointment is available.
Usually 2 week wait to get a telephone appointment.
Don’t get told what time Doctor will ring you.
Last time I was working so I missed the call. I then had to go through the whole process again to be told I’ll get a phone call a week later again with no time.
It’s understandable that things changed during the covid pandemic but this surgery has made no effort for things to return back to normal.
It’s a shame surgeries like this are acting this way adding pressure to hospitals.

20+ minutes on hold to be answered with "hello?" "Hello?" And have the phone out down.
