From the first call & friendly welcome in reception through the professional service to the quality aftercare for our dog Dexter, the Madra team exceeded expectations every step of the way. They even submitted the insurance claim form, only charged us for the excess fee & scheduled a check up to ensure everything was well. The best experience at the vets! Madra vets are so caring, patient, and so understanding with pets that are a little nervous of their first visit. I just never encountered such patient and lovely vets and not to mention so caring. They take their time to explain everything, being a "routine " op to the more complex procedures. Unfortunately Nora has had problem after problem with a recurring limp and you have all been so caring in helping us to get to the bottom of what’s going on so we can help her feel better - including making sure Nora gets the excellent care she needs, from X-rays to steroid injections.

Madra is hands down one of the best Veterinary clinics we've ever been to. I cannot recommend them enough!

It is family run, by Jess and Ben. They are incredibly knowledgeable, and careful/thorough, with their work.

Most of all, you can tell that they deeply care about the wellbeing of your pet.

I have a small rescue dog who was recently spayed by Ben (keyhole surgery). I am usually nervous about surgeries but I felt completely at ease leaving my little one in Ben and Jess' care. Everything went perfectly, and she was home by lunchtime! On day 2, she had bounced right back to her usual self, and her wound looked more like a 5-day old one than just 2 days. It was truly excellent work.

Even more testament to how fantastic Ben and Jess are, and how they look after your pet's emotional needs as well as their physical - a couple of days after surgery, my pup was actually excited to go back for her check-up, and gave Ben a hero's welcome and lots of kisses, despite having been operated on by him 2 days prior.

When we've gone for other reasons, Jess has been just as amazing. She always takes the time to explain things clearly and thoroughly, and also goes above and beyond to support me in looking after my rescue, taking an holistic approach to wellbeing and care.

Again, I cannot recommend Jess and Ben enough for their thorough, careful and trustworthy work.

Went to Madra last night for the first time with my elderly cat Lily following a recommendation. Was immediately put at ease by the wonderful warm family feel and was seen by Jess. What a fabulous experience; kindness, gentleness and even my anxious cat was purring under Jess’s gentle examination. I can’t say how happy and grateful we all are and our Lily seems so much happier today following one day of her new medication! Thank you Jess and Team Madra ♥️❤️

Absolutely fantastic! We had our pet cat Curtis stay here whilst on holiday. He was very well looked after and the staff were fantastic about keeping to his routine with medication and food. Couldn’t be more happy, they even sent us photos whilst we were away of how he was getting on. Staff were incredibly friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. He had a very large space to move around in and particularly enjoyed watching the birds out the window. Would highly recommend Madra to anyone.
