Having been with another doctors for years I have now been with this clinic for 2 years and I'm really shocked to see all the bad reviews, nobody on reception have ever been rude or rushed me on phone/face to face I've been seen on urgent appointments fast and am very understanding with less urgent appointments Having a waiting time. All the doctors and nurses have been lovely and helpful and even bothered to refer me to hospital after my last doctors insisting I had IBS. So happy I moved to sixways clinic

I recently found out that 4 out of 5 GPs working today finished their shifts at 3:30pm, with the fifth one out on house calls—leaving no GPs on-site. To my surprise, this isn’t just a Friday occurrence; it happens throughout the entire week! The issue with getting an appointment isn’t due to them being overwhelmed—it’s because they’re simply not available!

Waited on hold for over an hour after calling at 9am, to be told by receptionist that all their appointments were full today and that she was the only one on the desk. Didn’t even apologise for the wait - this is the third time this had happened on a Friday when trying to see a doctor for 18 month old who gets regular ear infections. Sounds like they all just want to leave early for the weekend!

I know it can be hard to get through, but I have never had any issues getting an appointment, and all the staff (both medical and on reception) have always been great

The one star reviews are of no suprise to anyone. Me and my family have had to endure some of the worst GP experiences including botched vaccines with my child being sent to A&E, infections which weren't taken seriously, wrong diagnoses, appointments routinely cancelled with no warning, reception staff being rude and giving medical opinions they have no right to give.

Complaints against this practise go underheard because "you have to be the patient". When the patient does complain they are rude and dismissive.

I'm utterly amazed at how long this has been going on for and all senior staff here need to be replaced immediately.

Myself and two family members had to leave Sixways after several years of issues. Very poor attitudes from the reception staff. A high stress environment. Instances of medical neglect that have led to long term disability and lack of support. Failure to follow up on referrals and advice from other services. Including a post stroke request for a brain scan that wasn’t ever completed. Inappropriate referrals to the incorrect services without discussing with us. A serious disregard for patient safety, an inability to adapt to my new disability and ridiculous rules on telephone vs in person appointments.

I had a terrible experience trying to get an appointment following a medical emergency, which included loss of consciousness and a head injury. I called in trying to book, but there was no appointment for 3 weeks. Despite my explanation and urgency, given my symptoms. I then phoned 111, and they immediately called an ambulance. Later on, when I was in the ambulance, and the ambulance phoned the clinic, and they refused to have a GP call the ambulance back—exceptionally poor service and totally lacking in patient care. Even the paramedics were shocked by the receptionist's response. I will be moving my registration with Sixways. Staff are numb to urgency and treat you with little regard. I strongly do not recommend Sixways Clinic.

Called me when they said they would. Dr Evans was really helpful, the receptionist was really pleasant and knowledgeable when I walked in making an enquiry and the nurse who phoned me the other week was also efficient and helpful. So lucky to have great healthcare from these guys. I rarely need them but they are always so helpful when I have asked for help.
