If I could give this business zero stars, I would. The people who work in the scheduling office have zero compassion. I have had to reschedule my appointments on a few occasions due to the VA overlapping my appointments in the first place. Each time I’ve had to reschedule, I was threatened by the front office of being dropped or having to pay extra, even though I am a VA referral. The second issue that I had with these people was the first assigned therapist. I heard all about her political alignment, and personal stories until 20 minutes into my session. She was never dressed, she looked like she always just woke up, and she kept calling me a victim. Gave me insane advice like, “I give you permission to become pregnant outside of your marriage.” And told me that my past therapist was trash. (Even though she was the best therapist to date.)
I requested a new therapist who was much better. But then, recently my area, San Bernardino mountains had a huge fire. I was evacuated. None of my family or friends live anywhere near by. Most of them are out of state. So, I went to go stay with my parents. I let PACC know that I was out of state and evacuated as the fire was literally miles from my home, and the woman on the phone decided to drop me from the sessions all together. Not once did she offer any well wishes or, I hope you’re okay. Nothing. She sarcastically exclaimed, “oh you’re out of town because of California fires? Okay. Well, we’re dissenting you.” By the way, a neighbors house burnt all the way down. So I was terrified of losing my own house as well. I’ve actually had to activate my fire insurance because of smoke damage. . .
This place is absolutely terrible. And my mental health and trust in the mental health system has gone down. I would not recommend this place at all. Especially for vets. I wouldn’t send my children or my loved ones here based on the staff, and based on that one therapist I previously mentioned.
