I tried therapy once before and it was not successful. This time, I prayed about it and diligently put in time to search through thousands of therapists in my area with filters that were important to me. I was so happy to get a return message from Dr. Jeanna-Marie Pollard (I called her "Dr. Jeanna"). I don't know if she is a "PHD" per se but she is "Dr. Jeanna" to me! At the end of each session, I had a better understanding of my "issues" and homework to help me navigate through them and subsequently felt like I could conquer anything! Dr. Jeanna didn't over talk me and she explained things in layman's terms. I came in with a frown and low confidence...defeated. At the end of my counseling term (multiple sessions until we worked through my "issues"), I was stronger. I stood taller. I was myself again and had tools to overcome this season of being "stuck" in life. This was different from my first session from another mental health provider. This counseling time with Dr. Jeanna was purposed! I am so glad she was purposed to help me in this hard time of life that she helped me to untangle so that I can move through it the way I am supposed to! HALLELUJAH!!! Thank you Morant for hiring Dr. Jeanna!!!
