I have certainly had my own frustrations with the Nuffield (especially just post Covid) but they have really stepped up and provided excellent care for my son Callum. Dr Lawrence is fantastic - she gets 5 stars.

If you want an appointment without having to wait 2-3 weeks then forget it. Even a telephone appointment seems to be out of the question here, God forbid you have something seriously wrong with you because by the time you get to see a doctor it'll be too late! Will be changing doctors as this place is a joke!

Horrible horrible, you cannot fault the reception staff but the rest forget it....especially the on site pharmacist and my mums G.P.

Always messing with my mums medication, forgetting something on the prescription.
Removing something she's still getting from the prescription.
Taking away important medication without running it by her first.
Changing the dose without running it by her first.
And the G.P just never listens to a word she says or she just refuses to deal with her and leaves her to the pharmacist and reception staff.

They have been told numerous times her medication hasn't changed but still they carry on. It's disgraceful.... She is nearly 70 with multiple conditions.

a certain medical company wouldn't allow my mum to post a review about what is happening to her I guess the truth hurts.

Ridiculous they're refusing to give my mum an inhaler and she is out *angry face*

Reception staff were lovely but the doctor I spoke to about my elderly relation was absolutely shocking!!! No care in the slightest. I hope he doesn't have an elderly relation that can't walk and is housebound. Then for me to get a message to book her in for a blood test and blood pressure review. What does he not get that she is housebound!!!

Had a txt to say my annual review was due for blood pressure check and blood test. Rang surgery last week and the earliest I could get an appointment for this with a nurse practitioner was 18th September. Today I called for regular steroid injections October is my appointment. Had enough and thinking of moving.

I started off as number 13 in the call queue and 50 minutes later I reached number 2. This is not good enough and the surgery certainly needs to review its call systems in the mornings. I can’t comment too much on the doctors as the last 5 occasions I have had to contact them about an elderly relative she has not been able to see a doctor, although have had call backs to discuss and diagnose issues.
I really think the CCG need to review the GP situation in an ever growing town as there is obviously inadequate cover for such a large population.

Living in witney all my life and quite surprised I have not died by there hands. Answer phone is always long even now when you go in the reception are just chatting to each other. Doctors are fine I guess but it gets let down so much by the amount of trouble you have to do to achlly get an appointment. When I got one for a ear infection they said put acid in it it some what worked went away then came back same cure given ended up burning my ear canal as they checked past the infection and said it was fine but keep spraying got a weak ear canal now that I have to buy stariods for. No wonder the NHS is failing.

I can safely say this service has ruined my life. NHS know very little about the drugs they give or the effects they do to normal mental ability over time. I came here because of minor anxiety and sleep problems. I now have full blow depression and feel suicidal. They basically give you drugs, drugs meant for people that can't function in society for minor issues that are then made bigger by the side effects of the drugs. They've also told me my medication isn't addictive but my Dr's told me I can't stop or it'll give me seizures and crippling insomnia. All I wanted was a decent night's sleep but now I've been pulled into the mental health system
