I was able to get an appointment quickly through the new Engage Consult system. I was first into the surgery and only waited a few minutes to see my doctor. She was very pleasant and took all my concerns seriously. We came to a mutually agreed decision of how to proceed and she immediately sent my prescription to my chosen pharmacy. Very satisfied.

Dr Cole is fantastic, she is very caring and empathetic and she listens to you. My blood test results were slightly abnormal and she contacted me instantly to make sure I know and text me after so I had a point of reference. Excellent service.

I had a general appointment, the wait was 2 weeks, which I don’t think is bad at all (better than a few years ago for sure).
I arrived 15 mins before my appointment, and was called away straight away. Really lovely doctor, he set my mind at ease and made me feel heard.
I was dubious about the new way to book appointments, but it seems to have made the process of actually seeing a doctor face to face much better.

Absolutely fantastic service. I feel like my concerns have been listened to and a good treatment plan has been put in place as a result. I requested an appointment, was seen, and able to collect a resulting prescription all on the same day. Special thanks to GP Jane Weldon and the friendly reception staff that stayed courteous, thorough, and professional during what looked like an exceptionally busy moment in the practice.

Yesterday I had an appointment with Dr E Parsons.
I was incredibly impressed with the time I spent with her. She was friendly and welcoming from the moment I entered the room. She had clearly carefully read the information I had put online.
She listened carefully , asked lots of questions, examined me gently, and explained the possible options for the next steps. I felt I completely understood what she explained, and involved in the whole process. I was particularly encouraged by the opportunity to have a follow-up appointment face to face to discuss how I was feeling after a month's treatment.
I felt reassured and much happier when leaving after the appointment. After two previous appointments with other doctors, with unsuccessful outcomes, I was extremely relieved.

Appointments always easy to get (usually next day, definitely same week!) I find engage consult so easy and quick to use. My old surgery was nightmare and you had to phone and sit on hold… “you are number 12 in the queue” which was very intrusive on my day at work.

Prescriptions are processed quickly, the surgery is almost always running bang on time and staff are fantastic and kind. The surgery its self is huge and spotless. Very grateful to be in the ‘catchment area’ it’s a massive jump up compared to the surgery I used previously, in a near by town. Thank you Windrush 🙂

This is my sixth year at the Windrush Medical Practice. I inadvertently missed my scheduled appointment. A professional and polite receptionist secured an appointment much sooner than I deserved. Dr. Wang was without a doubt the most engaged and informed doctor I have ever met. Thank you.
