Life changing and life saving service. The team are warm, welcoming and dedicated. They listen and respond to concerns and suggestions. The building is light, clean and airy and the garden is a sanctuary. There is a sense of dignity I haven't experienced in other mental health services. I didn't expect to spend my adult life managing mental illness instead of pursuing dreams but this place makes me feel safe and, after almost 7 years, I feel part of a community. It is a vital service. I'd be lost without it.

I hope the negative reviews won't put people off from trying out the Wellbeing Hub (daytime) and Staying Well Service (evening) if they need to. My experience is that the staff in both are caring and try hard to be person-centred. They (like a lot of organisations) have work still to do to make their services fully trauma-informed and autism-accessible, but I've found that they are aware of this and have been keen to put things right when things have gone wrong and look at how they can develop.

The groups I've been to are friendly and engaging, but they fill up quickly, especially the creative ones, so you often have to book quite far in advance. The Art Studio is also a fantastic resource. It's been a big thing for me to be able to take part in events like the Artist's Open Houses with the Wellbeing Hub - really meaningful experiences that have helped my recovery.

Some of the reviews are about Staying Well (evening), which is a new service in the same building. It's a much needed service in Brighton - a 'crisis cafe' where you can go and get peer support and professional support for mental health crises. The staff are kind and down-to-earth. They have supported me when other services were impossible to access (e.g. and hour listening to hold music via the mental health support option on NHS111). Don't be put off by the strange routine of questioning and asking everything twice at the door - once you're past the bureaucracy, Staying Well can be a life-saving service.

Wasn't allowed in. Lied to/gaslit by staff who failed to follow through with their promise to contact police/ambulance given my unsuitability for service. (Because there is no place for doublespeak in psychosis) "Clinician" too defensive to understand why their clinical directionality might help me better communicate with them.

I was very disappointed with walk-in service, which on Monday evening in February 2024 could not take anymore walk-ins @ 20:00hours (8 pm). I was in distress so I went, instead to A&E. It was disgusting and luckily I didn't travel to this place by taxi, otherwise I would have wasted my money! The leaflets are a load of rubbish about the walk-ins.

Support and groups are outstanding. Opportunities to do something unusual. I learnt navigation skills on a day's workshop recently and enjoy days out with the nature group. The craft group is also well thought out and popular.
Mindfulness of movement and yoga are excellent and hour and a half classes which leave me feeling relaxed and positive.
I took the monthly support pathway and my meetings have been really helpful.
The Centre has new workshops and courses out about to start that offer more interesting opportunities.
I find all the staff approachable and friendly. They each offer interests in a different area which creates a good dynamic. Encouraging peer led groups, walks, poetry, music is also positive.
