I can't praise the staff enough. Nothing was too big or small to ask for. They have given my brother the best of care. Compassion understanding and time. Could not have got through the last five days without your team

My first time having to experience a loved one needing to go into a hospice so the whole situation was new to me.

First impressions when you drive into the grounds are of how nice the building looks and how well kept the place is inside and out.
Not going to lie, my nerves set in before we walked in because I didn't know what to expect but we were greeted by the very friendly staff who quickly put me at ease.
They explained what was going on, how my family member was doing and what to expect when we walk into the room then they showed us to the room.
Walking in you could tell the staff cared about their patients and it showed by how my family member had been looked after and you could see they had been made to feel as comfortable as possible.
The situation wasn't the easiest to be in but it put me at ease knowing my family member was in the best possible place, there is no doubt in my mind that they will be receiving the best care which is all you want for your family if they need that sort of care.
All I can say is thank you!

My father Ted 86, spent the last 2 weeks of his life here at Pilgrims Hospice in Canterbury and received the best medical attention with the most kind and caring staff. The ambiance here was one of peace and calm and it was a very comforting environment for him and other patients. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, for him or family and friends who came to visit him or to call to see how he was doing. Thank you to you all who contributed to his care, including the wonderful volunteers who all contribute to this amazing facility of tranquility and serenity.. I am so blessed to have had you all assisting my wonderful dad. Thank you from the bottom of my heart X

I will always support the Pilgrims Hospice because they are such caring and wonderful people. Quite a few years ago my Father had cancer and was admitted to the hospice, he was made very comfortable and they gave him absolutely anything he wanted as the outcome unfortunately was going to be his demise. I cannot find anything bad to say about this place or the staff. Very friendly and helpful people that make the experience of being in a hospice much more acceptable and not a place of misery. Thank you so much for looking after my Father and making his last days as comfortable as possible. You are amazing people and I would like to say more but there is nothing more to say. A big thank you from me and my family.

I can’t rate this amazing hospice and the caring wonderful people that work there highly enough. Everyone one was so supportive to all our family, and the tender loving care for my dad Ron was exceptional. We thank you so much.
You made the last days for him and us so much more bearable, as he passed peacefully away in your care.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My mother was admitted in the latter stages of lung cancer. All the staff, nurses, doctors, volunteers etc were amazing and assisted and supported my mum and our family right up to, and after, mum had passed. The grounds of the hospice are beautiful and very well maintained and my mother found great pleasure in looking out and watching the birds. I can't thank the hospice enough for the great work they do and for taking such brilliant care of my mum in her last few weeks of life. Xx
