I have been with the surgery most of my life. Some of the doctors since covid will not even see you, even though we have all been told to tread it like normal now they will only take phon call appointment. I meant how are they supposed to do they job over the bloody phone. The receptionist all ways ask heat it's about and it could be private the only people should know is you and the doctor or nurse your taking to.

So far, I’ve been with this surgery for about 18 months, and having come from a highly rated surgery in Penrith, I can only say that the treatment I so far received at Grosvenor House and Morton surgeries have been great. Yes, there is a bit of a wait with appointments, but it’s the same everywhere you go. All my treatments and interactions from the GPs have been very proactive and supportive. Thank you Grosvenor House and Morton Surgery for a great patient experience.

Absolutely AVOID this practice like the plague!! The Drs are incompetent, resulting in death sentances for at least 2 patients that I know of. The practice manager is even worse, not aware or actually caring about anything going on in her practice. The nurses however are amazing and I feel for them working in such an incompetent practice. If you value your health dont even consider this practice!!

After reading so many negative reviews i thought i would comment on my recent and ongoing treatment with Grosvenor house.. Working within the healthcare sector myself I know only too well that negative feedback/comments always get passed on swiftly where the positive ones very often don't... Following an accident at home that resulted in 2 trips to A&E and regular communication with Grosvenor house surgery I have nothing but praise for all the staff that I have communicated with over the last few weeks..Which for me has been an anxious time..Staff have always been polite, helpful and patient focused. I have been treated with kindness, respect and reassurance. Special thanks to everyone who works in reception, for your never ending patience.
Each and everyone of you are a credit to the surgery

DO NOT REGISTER WITH THE SURGERY Absolute disgrace, if it's not hard enough to get an appointment at this doctors when you do they will make you wait before telling you your appointment has been cancelled and the staff 'forgot' to tell you. After returning the same week they tell you they accidently deleted you off the system as the older female reception team are not 'strong' with computers. Then when you try And rebook back in they tell you 'they are low on doctors' so will have to referee you to hospital for a simple check up. Avoid this place like the plague!

Although the queue on the telephone system can be lengthy ( waiting 20 mins to 30 mins depending on position in queue) once through to the practice staff the system has vastly improved and indeed was very proficient. I had seen a GP within two days ( and it would have been faster but I couldn’t make appointment). Having the Morton surgery open again really helps.

Absolutely ridiculous: lack of doctors, waiting time for prescription unbelievable ( I've been trying since yesterday midday to have prescription changed because one I've been given is causing massive side effects, 6 phonecalls, every time to be told doctor didn't have time yet. I'm off work loosing money, because my medication needs to be changed).
Nurses are very helpful but doctars are useless. One time I've been told my chest pain is due to indigestion never had it in my life, and I did explained it only to be given medication for.... Indigestion.
If you can choose different GP,do it this one I would never recommend to anyone. Although there isn't better choice in Carlisle.

I have been here for nearly 3 years and used to think it was a good surgery. Now, after the most recent time of being treated extremely poorly and yelled down the phone at (a pretty common occurrence) by a doctor who couldn't even pronounce the name of my medication, I am definitely moving to a new doctor.
