Problem with generic Finasteride, spoke with pharmacist who contacted my chemist, all sorted no problems. Thanks to receptionist who arrange call back, when booking appointments could we not be notified by text and also Patient Access.
This service will be acceptable instead of waiting for a Drs medication review.

Extremely rude receptionists every time you get through. Think they are above you, and act like they are guarding the gates of Mordor. AVOID if possible

Absolutely shocking, never a Dr present and just always say go A&E.

They couldn’t even diagnose someone who is really struggling to breathe and just said the ECG is fine and gave B12.

This has now resulted in blood clots on the lungs, which has caused an heart attack and blue lighted to hospital. The ECG showed the problems yet the practice couldn’t diagnose it. So incompetent and should not be seeing anyone.

If you take old and vulnerable I suggest you re think otherwise they won’t be with you very soon.

I would call it a Drs but there isn’t ever one present, shut this place down.

You know why this GP has become a pile of garbage. So that Government can push and force us to buy private health insurance and then there will be a lots of appointment again in the same health centre with same doctors and nurses.
Old people were lucky. New Generation is going to suffer.

I've been a satisfied patient at this practice for over 30 years, but during recent visits have had to sit in a crowded, overheated waiting room for up to TWO hours. The doctors are rarely in attendance before 11am, the nurse practitioner sees all patients from 9am till then. I understand that there is difficulty in recruiting younger doctors these days, but the situation at this practce is especially dire.Having said that, I have nothing but praise for the staff here, I've always been treated with the utmost courtesy and respect, just wish one didn't have to wait so long to see a medical professional.

Surprise this place is still running.

96 times I've phoned and couldn't get through and when I did I say for 30 minutes in a que to be answered and told there are no appointments and to phone 111 absolute joke of a GP practice, with this gp it's a case of grin and bare what the problem is or wait till it out of control and go to emergency centre.

DO NOT recommend

Eventually changed Gp after 2 doctors looked at my 2yr old and said he was fine was a viral I took him to see another gp who proscribed him antibiotics for a bad chest infection and said his chest sounded terrible! Same is now happening with my parter no appointments no-one will see him even having getting sent back by same day health. AVOID AVOID AVOID staff are rude receptionist think there gps and GPS fob you off.

Whilst the staff are all very pleasant, I can’t give this practice any more than one star. Every morning is open surgery where you sit and wait to be seen. You can wait from 8:15 however, the doctor doesn’t get in until 9:30 and the nurse practitioner about 9:15. So to be seen first you will have already waited an hour! I’ve only ever known one doctor be in a time and there’s no doctors in at all on a Friday. When you try to book an afternoon appointment with a doctor, you’re lucky to get one earlier than 2 weeks. It’s all extremely inconvenient.

I was a patient here before I went to university and the practice and staff members were very helpful and friendly. Since being at uni I have become a patient at a new doctors during term time, however I have come home for the summer & rang up to see if temporary patients could get vaccinations as I am going to Tanzania in August and my house tenancy in Newcastle has ended so I can't get it there. The lady I spoke to on the phone was a quite blatantly rude to me and patronising, she didn't give me advice as to what to do, even though the vaccination I needed should be free on the NHS. She was also rude to my mum and not helpful or friendly when my mum went into the practice itself to find out more information. Health centres are supposed to be friendly, welcoming and most important helpful places and this is the opposite of what I have experienced in recent events.
