I had a total knee replacement recently in Invicta Ward. I had a comfortable room with my own bathroom. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. I was treated with great care and professionalism by all. All credit to them. I can’t thank them enough. The only slight criticism is the state of the building. It seems like what was meant to be a temporary structure has been used as a permanent one. It could do with some TLC.

I came here recently for new hearing aids. Eva was brilliant. Her communication was clear, she was excellent at giving instructions so I could be independent and she has set me up with an App! The people in this department give a superb, kind and efficient service and should be applauded.

Kind and friendly clinicians. I felt very safe in their hands. They explained all the procedures very clearly, were thorough when checking the intervention that I needed and were very helpful on discharge.

Just got my grandad back home from urology and the people caring for him sent him home without his pull ups up completely and utterly disgusting behaviour. Total lack of care and complete disregard for his dignity. My name is Terrell Ovid you can find me on Instagram I would love for the head of urology department to contact me ASAP I have left a message on your answer machine on how to contact me. I expect an apology for your staffs manner and how they treat humanity. Honestly it's an absolute shame on you because I believed in your department too, never would I have thought my grandad would have been treated like this in your hospital. My grandad is 88 has dementia and earlier this year was abused by carers. I'm now sat up in bed saddened by how he has been treated tonight. UPDATE Just so the record is set straight we was contacted by urology and they told us it was not them even though we was told that is where he is going. Urology could not be more helpful and helped us find the department that was responsible for this and it was A & E. So someone in this department thought is was OK to do this not only did they leave his pull ups by his knees but also left blood and wet urine blanket between his legs then put a blanket over my grandad and sent him home in an ambulance. If it was not for a G4S ambulance crew and my mum at 1am in the morning my grandad would have been left like that all night. I'm actually so upset and stressed out that society has got that bad people that work for the NHS think its OK to treat people like this. No matter what age you are or who you are no one deserves to get treated like that no one. It's been almost a week now and canterbury hospital need to hurry up with their investigation to stop who ever done this in their tracks from doing it to others ?.

My mum was on the stroke unit at this hospital. The staff treated my mum with the utmost care & compassion. She was nursed with respect & dignity in her final days & we can't fault any aspect of the treatment she received. They gave her wider family care & wonderful support when they needed it most. All of mum's medical needs & wishes were carried out & we were made a huge part of mum's comfort care plan.
To everyone on the stroke unit thank you from us all.

Many delays and particularly regarding the pharmacy. It is meant to be open from 9 am but that certainly does not happen. Why bother saying that’s the opening time?

Parking at the hospital is primarily pay-on-foot. On approaching a car park with an entry barrier press the green button to take a ticket. Before returning to your vehicle, you will need to insert the ticket in to one of the Pay Stations which calculates how long you have stayed and how much you need to pay. Weekly permits are also available from the pay stations. They also have 1 Pay and Display car park.
