Dr whittenburg has been great. Whenever I have been unwell he has always been helpful and put me at ease and if needed referred me to hospital clinics when I have needed to be seen by specialist. Please disregard those putting negative comments.. I have been at their surgery for over 15yrs and i have never had any issues ever. he has always been professional and caring about your illness.

I’ve recently returned from hospital after being hit by a car and badly breaking my leg, and the process of registering was simple and quick (sorted within a week) and I’ve never known a GP practice where you can just call and get through immediately - to the *most pleasant* helpful reception team! I called asking for a prescription (first phone appointment), and while I was still on the phone to the receptionist Dr Martin was already calling me! He arranged my prescription with no issues compared to my last practice and we had a nice chat (regarding my condition) aswell.
Really happy I read the reviews where the low star ratings seemed to be things the practice can’t help or don’t have as services.
Keep up the great work 🙂

Not sure where the negative reviews have come from, but my wife and I have used this surgery for the past few years and they have been amazing. We have always got an appointment when needed and first class care even during the pandemic. Dr Whitenberg has been the most understanding doctor we've ever had and Katie the nurse and the other girls are also brilliant and very helpful. I would 100% recommend this surgery.

I've been coming to this practise ever since it moved from Bold St. From the receptionist, nurses and Doctor they are absolutely professional, courteous and friendly. Dr. Whitenburg is the best doctor I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Keep up the the amazing work you do

I was with dr Kumar at bold st.he was amazing. Loved my children. Always came when needed.Dr whittenburg is just as professional in his job.always helped me.rang back when asked. Receptionists are really good and helpful. Katie the nurse is lovely nothing is a problem to her as same with the DR

I have just read a review on here against G.P Mr Martin Whittenburgh and cannot believe the lady is talking about the same G.P.
I was first registered at Bold st (20yrs+) where Dr Whittenburgh took over from Dr kumar I must say he brought the surgery upto date especially when we moved premises to Cockhedge medical centre.
On a personal note I have found Dr Whittenburgh to be a proffesional G.p and is one that you can talk to over various problems.I enjoy the fact the he also has a great sense of humour which to be honest does give you that feel good factor. To know that he knows my family he can understand some of the problems which are a family complaint. I have serious medical problems and some not so Dr Whittenburgh will listen however with the state of the country and the staff aren't immune from this.I've never had a problem during this pandemic to ring up and book a telephone consultation with one of the receptionists understanding that it will have to be the next day due to the amount of patients.I've never missed that call before surgery off himself.
I'm going now but I would like to say I certainly hope to have many more years at Cockhedge with Dr Whittenburgh, the receptionists, katie the nurse practioner may you all stay safe and well you all make one hell of a doctors surgery.

I just searched for their number and I had to leave a review cause I couldn't believe it's rating! It's the first GPs I've felt comfortable with and I'm never afraid to have an appointment. The Dr is always super helpful and lovely and the nurse was so patient with me when I popped in with an issue. I couldn't ask for better. I've been some bad doctors and these have never disappointed.

I have been registered with this practice since it opened. I love this surgery. The receptionists are always warm and friendly. Dr Whitenburgh is fantastic and always goes the extra mile. He is a credit to his profession.
