When I arrived for a blood test there was no que. A patient came out of the treatment room and it was a further 10 mins before I was called in. Two nurses in the room continued to chat to each other. my blood was taken
Rang for results to find out that sample sent to the lab was unlabelled!! I now have to arrange another test which if it is anything like the last one will take a couple weeks. I don't know what the service would be like if they were busy.

I had my ongoing appointment for my 12 weekly injection, because of a paperwork error the nurse was unable to give it. She was very apologetic and arranged for me to have the lnjection in her own time. Thanks Kate..

I went for a blood test and as soon as I walked in I told the nurse I had a needle phobia and she said "right". No empathy or kindness, just irritation if anything. According to the NHS a needle phobia is "extremely common" so I'd expect nurses to be understanding and trained to deal with people who struggle with this.
She then informed me she would have to use a baby needle on me which felt very condescending.
Luckily I've never had any issues with nurses actually taking blood from me but she took so long messing about with one arm and then messing about on the other that this allowed me to get In a very bad state to which she informed me she didn't want to do it incase I fainted and I would have to ring back up and make another appointment.
So not only had I been worrying for a whole week waiting for that appointment, but to then be told to just ring back up and have to go through it all again is really not okay. What difference would it make ringing up and making another appointment?!
This has now made my phobia worse.
I had to sit in my car for a good 10 mins just crying, absolutely traumatised by the whole experience and devastated that I'd have to go through it all again. I cry even just thinking about it, it was absolutely horrible. And the nurse was not nice or compassionate at all when I was clearly in a very bad way.
This was a test for ovarian cancer and I actually can't bring myself to go through all that again.
Very upset even just writing this.

Tried making an appointment with the blood clinic on behalf of my very elderly mother, which her GP requested. As experienced by others leaving reviews, the number is immediately disconnected and unavailable. Called her GP practice to report the issue, but they were uninterested and told me to 'keep trying' - useless and dangerous non-service.

If you need your bloods taken, go elsewhere. The lady barely said a word to me and was too busy chatting about her car with a colleague. I'm nervous about blood being taken anyway and I left feeling let down . Receptionist was lovely.

Went for ultrasound last year had my results back mentioned I had cyst on my ovaries which I got told last year in 2022 now it’s may 2023 and still not been seen tried to go private too but jubilee won’t send results of my scan to them and Warrington hospital no help too and my gp who did the referral for the ultrasound won’t help me too. So today I’m going Widnes walk in centre hopefully get seen there and know a bit more hopefully the cyst has gone or need surgery I don’t know

Went for blood test they cancelled the first test just the day before I was due to go said come next week same time I went gave sample there was a lot of banter between the staff but my sample went unlabelled so at my hospital appointment doctor could say nothing as he had no results
